Id give him 8.

As he has yet to face a fighter who tests his skills enough.

Beat Pacquioa clearly without getting hit much , up to 9 , do the same to Martinez , still around 9.

Beat Hatton and JMM , come on nobody should be tested beyond 8.

 

floyd's resume isn't currently that of a top 15 fighter, but let's have it right, it's still pretty damn good.

all them guys were at the top of the division when floyd fought them (i could add baldomir but i think margo had usurped him and i could add jmm but it's too big a jump for someone who isn't as great as those preceeding him)

 

You'll never find a perfect fighter in the history of boxing. But I will still give Floyd a 10. Simply because where he is at is where the bar is set(along with guys like Whitaker, Bernard, etc). They're about as good as it gets.

 

I said 2, but I meant 9. SNV threw me off. :rasta

 

Floyd is a 9, while Pac is an 8. Floyd could have achieved more than Pac with a 9.

Floyd is a 10 simply because there has never been anyone technically better. There have been equals -- Whitaker, Hopkins, Leonard. But he is just as good if not better than them in some regards. He would be a 9 if 10 is absolutely perfect (which no fighter ever has been), since he does have a couple very small technical flaws.

Defensive skill - 9/10

I give him a 9.5. He is the most technical boxer I have ever seen, seriously. One of my favorite fighters of all times. Just needs to be more active:bart
