    I give him an 8.

-1 because he rarely sits down on shots to inject power

-1 because he rarely throws combos

And 10 shouldn't be pacquiao. He can't fight on the inside.

Saying Floyd's offense is 9 just because he doesn't waste punches is like saying a Defensive minded guard in the NBA who takes 8 shots per game and makes 6 is on par with Kobe when it comes to offense. It just doesn't make sense. You cannot put Floyd's name in a sentence with the word OFFENSE. Never... :deal

I know Clottey is better offensively in his other fights but most posters would get the point when using Clottey as an example of a 1. Many remember Clottey from the Pac fight, not from his earlier fights. Miranda is also not a good example because although he does not have good offensive skills, he is primarily an offensive fighter. Many consider him an offensive fighter without any regard for defense. So using him as number 1 does not paint the right picture for the poll.

Dude he still lands in the ball park of shots as just about any other top fighter. the impressive part is he does it with much less sometimes than half the attempts it takes most others.

It's only a highlight but you can still see how he manages to maintain his balance even after throwing those devastating bad intention shots with major weight behind them.

^ No denying Joe had incredible offense and killer instinct but IMHO, SRR seemed a bit wild (and off-balance) when he threw (mebbe because he was punching with such bad intentions) but then again, I'll admit I've never seen earlier footage of him in his prime.
    THAT has gotta be photoshopped!

Against non-FMJ fighters, he doesn't need to. Besides Shane, when have you ever seen anyone back Margarito up? Sure, he doesn't have the sniper pinpoint precision of an FMJ but with those chain guns at the end of his fists, he can just spray & pray (& overwhelm). Offense isn't just a percentages game, it's also volume. Hypothetical: FMJ may throw 38 punches around
and land 28 but Manny can throw 68 per round and land 29. Sure, shittier percentages but still outlands....and here comes the inevitable 'FMJ will lower Manny's punch output'...we'll never know until they face each other, which is why we need this fight made!
