Fairly good fundamentals he fights in a style that makes the most of his natural attributes. Good hand & foot speed, an exceptional engine, decent power & a solid chin.

PAC is a one dimensional bum...just ask Floyd who is 10.

 

Technical skill wise...Floyd and B-Hop are on the same level

Pac TECHNICAL skill is a 6

Overall skillwise i give him a 9

 

8 technically. It's his combination of speed and power that makes up for any imperfections.

You know of another fighter who possesses those punches - Joan Guzman. Even Zab Judah does that.


There is quality and there is quantity. When you throw 20 punches per round, you better damn be accurate.

So we are in agreement that Gayweather is now 10 in the offensive department? It seems that *****s try to fit Fraud Gayweather to every imaginable best in category.

Lol, Mayorga with his 1 out of 10 caveman skillset managed to have the greater wins at welter than Floyd did with his perfect 10..

Manny is about an 8 I'd say

 

The fighter that should be at 1 is Baldomir.

Mayorga has more dimension than Baldomir.

 

i think manny is a lot better than what people give him credit for. if he had focused on technique early on, him and roach, i'm sure he would have more in his arsenal. i think they just took advantage and focused on pac's explosiveness. his ability to fight this style and at a high rate is the primary reason he has successfully gone up in weight.

 

The angles he punches with make him a solid good technician imo, an 8.

 

Firstly lets talk about giving Mayweather 10/10 on technical ability. How much of that is down to his great athletic ability? Lets face it, on athletic ability alone, Mayweather would have been a 3-4 weight champion. His technical ability has enabled him to fight on in the higher weight divisions, and maintained his longevity. On sheer technical ability then id have to swing more towards people like Bhops and Toney. They got so far on average to good athletic ability.

Going back to Pac, he is on par athletically to Floyd. I rate him higher in an overall offensive level, whereas Floyd is on another level interms of defense. Technical ability is measures in both ways and Floyd is better overall, as he is a very effective counter-puncher. I give Manny a 7 as he is an outstanding offensive fighter and an atg doing it. I give Floyd an 8 as i think he uses his god given athletic ability to achieve what he has.

 

Solid 8, and he doesn't even need all of them to be as amazing as he is.

Whitaker must be 9 in terms of defense because he can not possibly eclipse Gayweather who is 10.

SRL, who is more offensive minded, and a better puncher, who is probably more skillful, is just 9 because he can not possibly overtake gayweather who is 10. Gayweather, who seldom throws any combination at all is actually 10 in offense too.
