Povetkin had great resume, very deep, much deeper actually than lot of alphabet champions.

    In chronological order:
    - Larry Donald (old, past prime)
    - Chris Byrd (old, past prime)
    - Eddie Chambers
    - Ruslan Chagaev (slightly past his prime but still good)
    - Cedrick Boswell
    - Marco Huck
    - Hasim Rahman (old, past prime)
    - Manuel Charr
    - Carlos Takam
    - Mariusz Wach
    - Mike Perez
    - Andriy Rudenko
    - Christian Hammer
    - Johannes Duhaupas
    - David Price
    - Hughie Fury
    - Dillian Whyte

So, out of this list, who were 5 best fighters whom Povetkin had beaten? Rank his 5 best wins in order

Povetkin is one of those guys that has no real elite wins but his resume is simply packed with "the best of the rest" that he beat. If Wlad and Vits hadn't been around he'd have been the clear top guy.

I am going to second this. Povetkin doesn't have a great resume but he looks excellent on film. I wish he had a few other top wins on his resume.

LOL that you and @Unique Way both put Duhaupas on his list of notable wins.

First, the Russian commission allowed Povetkin to fight even though he failed a drug test for ostarine, which canceled a fight with Bermaine Stivern for the WBC interim title.

So they found Duhaupas, threw enough money at him that he couldn’t turn it down, and brought him up on the day before the fight. He didn’t even have his boxing boots so he borrowed a pair of shoes in the locker room.

And it still took six rounds for Povetkin to get him out of there. A guy who hadn’t been training who hopped on a plane to collect a massive paycheck.

It’s as shameful as anything on any fighter of note’s record in boxing history. And it’s not like Povetkin hadn’t already been banished for a time for a previous failed PED test.

He’s a blight on the sport and a main exhibit in Russia’s institutionalized program of PED enhancement.

I think Whyte has to be his best win. Especially given that he was at the end of his career

The ostarine PEDs bust was essentially expunged, but yeah, he has at least one legit PEDs bust for the other substance. You are correct to point this out. Good show.

Very good fighter ability wise but so so resume imo. I'm not even sure he can lay claim as 3rd best of the Klit's era as he never fought Haye, Ibragimov, Peter etc.

I rank his PED supply up there with anyone’s in his era, in any weight class.
