Rank the best 5 fights: Floyd Mayweather

Not sure if you mean opponents, his performance or the fight being close? Lets say Marquez, Mosley, Cotto, Manny and Canelo. You could argue those are his 5 best opponents and none of the fights were close. Cotto being down 5-3 after 8 is as close as those fights got and Mayweather swept the remaining rounds. Mosley had Mayweather in trouble Mayweather shut him out the rest of the fight.

The De La Hoya fight is probably one of his 5 best opponents but that was a close fight the only close fight Floyd had against the top 147/154s of his era(not Maidana).

 

Corrales, Gatti, Mosley, Canelo, Manny with Marquez being an honorable mention.

 

I like his first fight Marcos and his showdown with Augustus not much else from memory.

 

I like that one where that dude head-butted him, then wanted to hug and kiss and touch gloves and then hold hands and then hug and kiss again … and then Floyd KTFO the guy when the ref finally allowed the fight to resume.

That was hilarious.

 

I think that was his 49-0 fight? Agreed, awesome.
