Gavilan, Rodriguez, and Napoles - the three Cuban all time great welterweights.

How do they stack up against eachother H2H?

Rodriguez, Gavilan, Napoles but I think you could and perhaps would order them the exact opposite way when ranking their respective careers. I think Napoles is the best of the bunch I just feel Luis has a style advantage over him.

I'd pick Rodriguez over both of them, then Gavilán over Napoles. Any order is acceptable, though, and to be honest; I think Napoles was the most talented of the bunch, he was just better suited to 140.

You can rank them in any order, they’re all incredible ATG fighters and are as good as each other. For me:

    Jose Napoles
    Luis Manuel Rodriguez
    Kid Gavilan

I see it as this: Napoles was the most talented, Rodriguez was the most well-rounded, Gavilan was the most exciting.

Gavilan, then Rodriguez/Napoles as I am having a real hard separating them. I think Rodriguez would come first just due to his naturally larger frame and all round skillset, as Napoles really was a 140 man - though I think he has the 'best' style.

    So:
    1. Gavilan
    2. Rodriguez
    3. Napoles

I find it a lot easier to order them in terms of greatness at welterweight than H2H:
1st: Napoles (no. 3 all-time on my list)
    2nd: Gavilan (no. 5 all-time)
    3rd: Rodriguez (low teens all-time)

H2H, if they all fought each other I might have the reverse order... might being the key word.

That’s what I said earlier. I rank them the exact opposite from greatness to head to head with Gavilan staying in the middle.

    I go with:
    1/ Napoles
    2/ Gavilan
    3/ Rodriguez
I found Rodriguezs style a bit too jerky for me, ha seemed too ( especially when he went up to Middle weight) big arsed ( am I allowed to say that ) so not very pleasing on the eye, unlike Napoles who was anything but, Gavilan seemed to throw lots of flashy combos, but in the main didnt seem to carry any weight, great chin mind, on that subject the Welters by and large took great chins into the ring, above 3 a case in point, joined by, Basilio, Ross, McLarnin, Walker, Palomino, The Leornads, Britton, Walcott, Armstrong, wow !
