OK lets start with the nick name " The Prodigy " , this was given to BJ when he left Ralph Gracie and joined the Nova Unao team , it was given to him because he was so naturally talented that his teamates couldnt beleive it , hence " The Prodigy " , secondly BJ at the time of the Uno / Serra fight was far from the disciplined individual outside of the cage , he was regularly smoking weed and eating shite like cheeseburgers even in the build up to fights , ever wondered why BJ in his early days looked like absolute death if he didnt get a KO early ?? , thats why Yes he was highly regarded , but he hadnt even scratched the surface of what the real BJ Penn is / was capable of . IMO in Stateside rules Alvarez beats Aoki today , he caught him early with a heelhook last time , with a grappler like Aoki that can happen to anyone !!! Alvarez is a better well rounded fighter IMHO Dream / Pride are completley different to UFC / SF rules in a ring / cage respectively , as stated they forge different scenario's and styles from fighters , leave me alone now please :hi:
