In a legit HOF, personally I might sneak Taylor in, no way Charlo but the HOF we have in reality, they are lock ins.

Based on what exactly? Taylor's resume at 140 violently projectile squirts ass juice all over Bud's.

Taylor was involved in the WBSS which gave him good competition but it's just a judgement call based on who I think is a better fighter, shoot me.

You are correct, Taylor has a better resume on paper at 140. You think he would have beaten Crawford at 140?

I get where you're coming from, but that's not the point of the thread. At the end of the day, someone could be the most talented fighter ever, but if they've faced largely subpar competition, they'll never have the hit list on paper to back it up. Also, one must ask the question, is Bud really the more talented of the two? He's gotten into a pretty bad pattern as of late of being consistently outworked and even outboxed, and bailing himself out with his power. Had the Porter match gone the distance, we'd all be talking about how Crawford-Porter was one of the robberies of the year in 2021.

That's actually a tough call, aside from Catterall, most of the southpaws Taylor has faced he's performed remarkably well. Yeah, I probably lean Crawford, but not with a ton of confidence.

    Crawford anmoys
Postal did a lot better against Taylor and that was post the shallacking he received from Crawford. Taylors best win is a razor thin win against Prograis. He also had a tough battle against Ivan Baranchyk. Baranchyk is not getting past 4 rounds against a motivated Crawford. I like Taylor but he's not as good as Crawford in my opinion, politics of boxing aside.

Bro, I disagree with this. Taylor has one really good win in Regis, but who else has he beat? Almost lost to an older version of Postol that Crawford already dismantled, got a gift against Catterall. There's no way I'd rate a win over Ramirez over Porter. Maybe Regis is rated above that version of Porter? Idk, I never rated Regis that highly tbh.

He said at 140, and who did Bud face at 140? John Molina, Felix Diaz, Indongo, Lundy, Dulorme, Jean and his best win Postol. I rest my case.:sisi1

Lest anybody ever call this dude incapable of being objective. :deal:

I know for a fact that he is very lukewarm to say the least on Chocolatito, in fact he probably likes at least half this list quite a bit more than him, some he's an outright pompom-waving fanboy of (as I am), hell there's a couple in RomaGon's own weight range that CST adores, but he still gives the devil his due and rates him up top as having the strongest legacy as of now.

Sure, but based on sheer balls, Taylor takes it. Think about it, when it was a toe to toe boxing match, Postol was holding his own. Postol arguably swept the first 3 and held his own in a very close round 4. Then Bud dropped him twice, figured he had a point lead, then decided to bore the living hell out of the PPV audience who paid hard earned cash for that shot PPV and ran like a little ***** for the next 7 rounds. Taylor could've played it safe, but no.... he went into the wheelhouse of Postol, fought Postol's fight and beat him at it. Of course on paper Crawford performed much better, but delivering for the fans a memorable performance, Taylor takes it.
