I understand your point of view, I just think Crawfords a better fighter, call it the 'eye test' IDGAF. Crawford beats him at 140 or 147 in my opinion.

Ah, for some reason I thought Canelo, Beterbiev and Teraji were on the same ambivalence tier.

Fine, maybe 15-20. Is that better.:sisi1

Chavez, Locche, Benitez, Tszyu, Hatton, Taylor, Khan, Cervantes, Cotto, Pryor, Ross, Canzoneri, Loi, hell even Matthysse and Danny Garcia rank above him.

You'd be right about the ambivalence. But if I had to rank that, Roman would come in last.

Not for me but yeah, you reminding of those names, I'm pushing him out of my top 5, I think :risas3: but not for Matthysse, Hatton, Khan or Garcia.

You are probably correct. I guess the "legit" Hall of Fame aspect didn't play into my thinking. If Ray Mancini and Arturo Gatti are in, they will probably vote Taylor and Charlo in as well.

How on earth is Crawford HOF lock and Taylor nowhere near? Taylor has a stronger resume than Crawford, aside from the catterall decision which was super close his best win is Prograis which is a much better win than a semi retired - fresh off the couch Porter while losing 6rounds, Postol (arguably his best win) or Burns in Scotland.

Just off the top of my head.
Oleksandr Usyk: ATG. Top 2 at cruiserweight all time both resume wise and h2h, arguably the greatest boxer on this list.
Naoya Inoue: ATG. Top 13ish at 118 all time based on resume, second greatest Japanese boxer p4p and might become number one. Could end up being the greatest out of this list.
Terence Crawford: The Spence fight not happening when it should've is gonna haunt him.
    Errol Spence: See above
Canelo Alvarez: In a weird state where people either really underrate him or really overrate him. Which results in threads about him becoming screaming contests. The general forum version of Marciano in that sense.
Dmitry Bivol: Beterbiev fight needs to happen for him to be top 15. Light heavyweight all time list is absolutely stacked
Vasily Lomachenko: I remember in 2017 when Lomachenko was held in such high regard that I got called a "reverse racist" in a youtube comment section for saying he wasn't the p4p goat. Times have changed since then lol. H2H, he is a threat for anyone near his weight range. There are a lot of great match ups for him, like imagine Lomachenko vs Canzoneri. Unfortunately his resume isn't as great as you would want it to be. Him staying in the amatuers is one of the big factors in this.
Josh Taylor: Is an example of how quickly boxing fans will jump off a ship. I personally think the Catterall fight was an off night and he'll eventually do enough to get into the HOF.
    Jermell Charlo: Eh.
Juan Francisco Estrada: One of my favorite active boxers. Been in a lot of modern classics and will go down as one of the greatest and most exciting Mexican fighters to ever do it.
Kazuto Ioka: The king of New Years (expect for that one time.) Ioka-Yaegashi is a must watch and top 10 fight of the 2010's. I really want him to fight Gonzalez or Estrada.
Kenshiro Teraji: I guess he could become the 108 goat but I'm not sure if the names are there for him to do it. H2H wise I don't see him beating Zapata or Chang. It's weird how we wanted for so long for the Kyoguchi fight, eventually got it (and it was awesome) and then never talked about it again? Like that was one of the biggest wins of the year but when you search on the forum you just see cobwebs.
Roman Gonzalez: If they all retired right now, I would rank Gonzalez as the greatest p4p out of all of them.
    Shakur Stevenson: Has great potential.
Artur Beterbiev: Needs the Bivol fight to be top 15 in 175 all time.
    Tyson Fury: no comment.

Of the guys I’m up on,
Usyk - HOF/borderline ATG need more fights even if he eventually loses needs a longer reign.
Inoue - HOF/borderline ATG if he beats Fulton would be more solidified
Crawford - HOF/borderline ATG the undisputed at 140 looks good but resume is too weak to be a ATG
Spence - HOF and maybe a 147 ATG but needs more fights and needs to do more.
Canelo - he really the only bonafide ATG fighting done more than anybody else currently
Bivol - just another solid fighter
Lomachenko- HOF/borderline ATG the Teo loss hurts gotta do more and get some more fights in IF he beats Haney would be huge.
Taylor - just a solid fighter undisputed is historic but gotta do more.
Charlo - HOF Jermell at 154 is a dog and could be a 154 ATG already gotta do more tho.
Estrada - arguably ATG has done a lot as far as the smaller weight fights go and beaten the best of the best.
Gonzalez- HOF/ borderline ATG again another smaller fighter who is a killer the little division don’t get as much shine.
Shakur - a solid champion but needs to do more
Fury - a solid champion but needs to do more.
