Klitchko already stated Joshua is the future of the HW division.even said he would k.o Fury last year..this was before he knew he was fighting him. No way shape or form cant Klitchko recognize the differance in skill levels to Joshua and Parker no matter what he states.

I have already clearly rated AJ above Parker, and no doubt Klitschko does as well - it's hard not to, but I suspect he proves a level above pretty much all active HWs so that's not saying anything bad about Parker vs the division.

I said that stuff in response to your comment implying that Parker is a lower level overall to ALL the other champs. He is definitely a peer among them, and I give him a reasonable shot against Wilder.

Yes, Parker only just edged past Ruiz - but Ruiz isn't the pushover you suggested, I look forward to seeing what he does to his next opponent... he looked really good in the Parker fight. Hell, Parker walked through Dimitrenko and even HE destroyed who was meant to be a top prospect who people were already suggesting could beat Parker.

I think Parker's style is one of those ones which don't catch the casual observer's eyes unless he's throwing combos - and a few of his opponents/sparring partners have later said that being in the ring with him has proven not quite what they expected from watching footage.

It's a real tough call. Record wise I think Parker tops the bill and AJ currently (prior to Wlad) sits bottom. In terms of actual potential I think AJ is top, the other two is a bit of a toss up. Parker is a better boxer than Wilder but Wilder's athleticism makes him a completely different fighter, plus I think he can improve whereas I feel like Parker has hit his ceiling. Head to head, I would pick AJ to come out on top at the moment.

    SO I guess
    1) AJ
    2) Wilder
    3) Parker

But I don't think there's many wrong answers to this question

    1. AJ - Thanks to boxing skill
    2. Wilder - Thanks to workethic and discipline
    3. Parker - I feel hes a bit undergunned physically therefore #3 for now until I see he can handle a top 10 SHW

Of the three: Joshua No1 on the eye-test, Parker No1 on the resume. And then there's Deontay...

Parker has major holes in his defense and overatted power like Ruiz who was labled a k.o killer for whatever odd reason. The fact is Ruiz a heavy legged limited mobility fighter who is undersized for the HW division bc of that.

Parker has a shot at Wilder but so does anyone with a decent punch who is aggressive which is why Joshua is going to steam roll him.Particulrly bc he actually has skills not just size.

    1/ Joshua
    2/ Klitchko
    3/ Ortiz
    4/ Wilder
    5/ Parker

Would be the correct order of the now top 5 in that order until proven otherwise based on how and who they fought . as well as looking at what each can actually do .

    Out of the champions

    1. AJ
    2. Parker
    3. Wilder

However, both Povetkin and Ortiz would be favourites against both Parker and Wilder. But they will most likely continue to be frozen out. Wlad is shot and old, he is not even factor. Fury is a whale and never coming back.

    I agree with this.

If we're including Ortiz, Povetkin, Klitschko, and Fury in the list, then all of these guys should rank higher than the current "champs".

However, Joshua looks like the #1 h2h and he'll get a chance to prove it against Klitschko.

Joshua h2h, Wilder resume. Though it took Wilder MUCH longer to get to his resume status than AJ, and it's a resume built avoiding the best. As someone else pointed out, if AJ beats Wlad, AJ removes legit debate. For the record, Wilders top 5 wins: Stiverne, Washington, Scott, Spilzka, Duhaupas while AJs top wins Whyte, Martin, Molina(who Wilder beat, but isn't one of his top 5), Brazaele, Johnson. No question Wilder has a better resume, for the moment, but AJ has the look of the more legit fighter.

Meanwhile, Parker's resume is overrated (best win a debatable one over overrated Takam, arguably no better than Scott). I like him, solid top 5 guy, but can't see him having much of a chance against the other two.

Wilder is number 1. He got there first and beat the most accomplished guy to get there.

Wilder is not a champion, only on paper. He has had 5 voluntary title defenses in a row, a record!
    Klitschko
    Joshua
    Parker
