    Cokkell did not fight Mathews or Lastarza during those timelines. As I told you he had just 3 fights during that period ,and lost them all by stoppage.
    The opening thread did not indicate Liston should be excluded,on the contrary it took it for granted he would be everyone's consensus number one!

    You have a real problem following guidelines don't you, your placings on Rummy's thread are now null and void .Just a waste of space.

    Liston
    Patterson
    Ingo
    Machen
    Folley
    Terrell
    Moore
    Cleroux
    Valdes
    Harris

    I only did within timeline and not entire career. Having said that - most of this list can be arranged like a bumper car derby

    Fighters that havent featured much.
    Doug Jones-Beat Rademacher, Bob Foster, Folley, Billy Daniels, McNeeley. Lost to Folley and Daniels too. Ran Ali close but losses to Machen,H.Johnson and Chuvalo hurt him.
    Summerlin-"Good" losses to Liston, beat Folley, Young J Johnson, C.Powell, Whitehurst. Mixed up a series with useful Harold Carter, losses to Satterfield, Machen and Valdez.
    Harold Carter- Defeated Bethea, Summerfield, Mederos, Sattrfield, Young Johnson and Baker. Lost to Valdez and then blew up, losing to every decent fighter he fought.
    Bob Cleroux- Reversed a close loss to Buddy Thurman with a Ko. Beat Carter, Miteff, McNeeley, Williams and won a series 2-1 with Chuvalo. Two losses to Folley and one to DeJohn were his only black marks.
    DeJohn. Inconsistant with some excellent scalps-Cleroux, Miteff, Powell, Richardson, Baker but lost to Valdez, Chuvalo, Liston, Machen, Folley.

    Roy Harris surprises too. 23 wins including Thurman, Pastrano and Baker. Lost to Floyd then unbeaten in 7 more including Lavourante, Powell and Bysgraves. Liston then flattened him and he spiralled downhill losing to Cleroux twice and Cooper.

    How far downhill was that? Patterson & Liston were champions. Cooper and Cleroux top five contenders at their peaks, which was about this time. One of those guys who was only beaten by very good men.

    True but his performances versus Cooper and Cleroux were poor, the pre-Liston Harris would beat these two IMO.

    Every other poster has Liston, not only included ,but at number 1, what does that tell you?
    Cooper has better wins than Terrell?
    During the given time line Cooper beat;
    London,Erskine,Folley,Miteff Harris; He also lost to Folley and Erskine.
    Fighting 39 times,winning 26,losing 11 and having 1 draw.
    Terrell beat ;
    Chuvalo,Machen,Foster,Peaks,Zech,Folley,Lincoln,Johnson.
    Fighting 44 times,winning 40 and losing 4.

    Walcott retired in 1953.
    Marciano had 2 fights in the time period stipulated.
    You're an idiot ,that's not a question,it's a statement of fact.

    You can't follow basic guidelines ,and you're calling me "dump?" You're supposed to rate them on their performances within the given ten years! Nobody else had any trouble comprehending this!
    Tony Hughes was a 3rd rate journeyman.A protege of Marciano who did nothing.
    Dick Wipperman was a 2nd rate journeyman.
    Cooper fought Erskine 4 times in that timeline ,winning 2 and losing 2.
    Williams was the number 7 ranked contender when he stopped Terrell.
    You're as thick as two planks aren't you.
