    3. Charlo - why? has a "minor" title, so hes a top contender now
    5. Jacob - top contender, better record than Dev

    5. Jermall Charlo
    6. Rob Brant (not really seen anything of him)
    I like Jacobs but he's looked a little vulnerable in these last 2 outings whereas Canelo, not my favourite by any means is both solid and has all those special privileges mentioned above.

    I've put Andrade ahead of Sergey, but I'm not really sure on the latter. Boo boo has a higher ceiling though I think if he gets active.

    Finally, really not sure if the hype over the Charlo's is making it harder to assess them. For now he can sit there till he fights someone.

    :thumbsup: That was unnecessary, but appreciated. I'll restore the post sans the mention of the present non-titlists.

    @CutThroatFade @uppercut_to_the_body this is how a respectful forum member acts. Now why don't you guys follow his shining example and both apologize for attempting to hijack my thread into a platform to soapbox your whining about either of the former titlists (both of whom, for the record, I'm way more of a fan of than anybody on the list, and both of whom I think would beat them all h2h...lest you think I'm "on the other side" in this place's insipid fucking agenda wars...)

    Why isn't Hagler on the list? He never lost his title fair and square in my eyes and is still the lineal champ.

    Seriously don't get why people are finding this thread so hard to understand.

    Jacobs comes out on top IMO.

    So despite the whole point of lineage being to transcend the politics and bureaucracy of sanctioning bodies; you now want lineal alphabet titles, too? :dunno

    RE Thread:
    1) Canelo. Has the pedigree.
    2) Jacobs. Huge at the weight, can switch to a very effective southpaw counter puncher. Size, athleticism and variable style make him the biggest threat to Canelo IMO.
    3) Andrade. Southpaw and slick, known to cause Canelo problems.
    4) Derevyanchenko. I think he could beat Andrade to be honest, but I'm doing all of this relative to Canelo, so I don't think I can have him any higher.
    5) Charlo.
    6) Brant.
