The first Diaz fight was pretty much on par with the rematch in my opinion, if a tad bit more one-sided in Saad's favor. Probably his best all-around performance. One thing to be noted, however: the 8th round of that first fight was every bit as good as the 8th round of the rematch. Odd coincidence, really.

Noone can seem to find it.

 

It would be very strange if it doesn't exist on tape, because Franklin-Douglas was the semifinal on that card from the Philly Spectrum to Duran-Ed Viruet II, on ABC. That indicates ESPN has it in their vault, along with Dempsey-Miske, Dempsey-Fulton, Greb-Tunney I, Greb-Walker, Corbett-Jackson, Jeffries-Sharkey II, Jeffries-Corbett I, and Figg-Sutton I & II.

Ritchie Kates and Marvin Johnson were certainly a cut above Dynamite though. It would be interesting to see how Billy decked Matt.
