Facts though Joshua is a front running turd and Fury was 400lb not long ago sniffing coke and drinking daily. Usyk is a great fighter, but the level of opponents are poor, they only have size FFS Ngannou debatably already beat Fury just the fight prior, but Usyk is the Goat for having a tough fight with him lol Anyway I best leave it there, I don't want a ban prior to the fight. I already know the mods WILL ban me if Fury wins, as a couple of them hate Fury to death
I like how you have broken down h2h and resume I really only tend to go on resume as it is a bit more factual if not completely accurate if you get what I mean? On that... L Lewis has to be #1. Can't see it any other way but after Lewis I can see a fair bit of debate L Lewis E Holyfield W Klitschko M Tyson O Usyk T Fury/A Joshua debatable V Klitschko R Bowe The final one is tough call where I could think Povetkin, Valuev, J Ruiz, Think the last one will get alot of attack but D Haye I think could be a good call
I don't see how Vitali can be number 2 H2H when he lost to the 2 best Heavyweights he fought and he had advantages in both of them. Lewis was old and not good in good shape. Byrd had a weeks notice fighting in Vitali's backyard. Vitali lost both fights. And there's no way Joshua is above Ibeabuchi or Tyson H2H you must be joking.
Vitali underrated ? If a anything he's overrated fans put him on a pedestal in regards to H2H ability but his resume was weak and he lost to the two best fighters he fought.
Lewis lost about 2 or 3 rounds vs Mavrovic you call that life and death ? Behave. Usyk struggled more against an aging Chisora more than Lewis did vs Mavrovic. What Southpaws did Lewis run from ?
Fans putting a boxer on a pedestal can be said about Fury, Wilder, and Usyk today. Basically any popular boxer that has fans do that to be fair.
Lennox Lewis Mike Tyson Wladimir Klitschko Evander Holyfield Olexsandr Usyk Tyson Fury Vitali Klitschko Riddick Bowe Anthony Joshua Deontay Wilder When all is said and done Usyk will probably rank a bit higher, but that's my list for now.
I disagree. Based on the thread title, it is 90s Tyson. 90s Tyson doesn't have a particularly good case for being much higher than I put him. If I can include his 80s run, he goes much higher. But then if I can include Foreman's 70s run he would be on the lists too. Anyway, it's a matter of opinions
You're forgetting Tyson's form after the loss to Douglas he destroyed Tillman, Stewart, both in 1 round. And also showed he could go 12 rounds in a grueling battle vs the huge punching Ruddock and Joshua would never survive a war like that. I would say Tyson's H2H ability in the early 90s after the loss to Douglas he should still rank higher than Joshua significantly.
Gotta disagree with you Dynamic. It was just sheer bad luck that he lost both of those fights. Admittedly it was a past-prime Lennox Lewis but it was still a fine performance from Vitali. The Byrd defeat was a result of a shoulder injury that could have ended Klitscho's career. Honestly, there are very, very few heavyweights that I would confidently back against a prime Vitali.
1 Lennox Lewis 2 Evander Holyfield 3 Mike Tyson 4 Vitali Klitschko 5 Riddick Bowe 6 Wladimer Klitschko 7 Oleksandr Usyk 8 Tyson Fury 9 Anthony Joshua 10 Ike Ibeabuchi
Byrd had a weeks notice and was fighting in Vitali's backyard aswell as being the much smaller man. I also believe Byrd contributed to Vitali's injury by making him miss so many punches remember Holyfield had a similar injury fighting Byrd. If Vitali was that confident he would've rematched Byrd deep down he knew the fight was tough and if the rematch took place in America and Byrd had a full training camp he could lose again. Lewis was at his highest recorded weight ever and on the wrong side of 30 it should've been a passing of the torch moment but Vitali failed. I mean yeah you could say the cut was unfortunate but Lewis was still landing heavy blows he almost took Vitali's head off in the 6th round with an uppercut. Vitali did have a good chin and his size would be a problem so H2H he rates somewhat highly, but he is also very robotic and stiff and his resume for the most part was forgettable so I do think fans overrate him a bit too much in regards to H2H ability.
Disagree and so does almost everyone else on the thread. You have a right to your opinion, and to a degree, these things are subjective, but you have to understand that what you are saying here is so out there that you are essentially talking to yourself.
IMO it's: 1 Lennox 2 Holyfield 3 Wlad 4 Usyk 5 Vitali 6 Fury 7 Povetkin 8 Byrd 9 Tua 10 Rahman These are probably the most consistently top 10 guys throughout the 3 decades. 11-15 would be: 11 Pulev 12 J Ruiz 13 Peter 14 Chagaev 15 Bowe
