I think that you are missing a lot of nuances of his game, as I presumably did earlier in his career.

I have never been prone to national bias, when assessing fighters.

For example, I have always been the first to resist the current attempts to build Frank Bruno, into something that he was not!

I was an early skeptic of Fury, and confidently predicted that Wlad would destroy him.

Tyson won the first maybe second round? Lewis wasa crap before Steward perfected his 1-2, he looked half a sleep knocking out bums, Ruddock was dreadful v Tyson jusyt holding and overrelying on the smash punch, in what way had he declined against Lewis? slower? weaker chin? Lewis caught Ruddock bette than Tyson did, because it was flush, Tyson had to get trough Ruddock`s arms that he constantly had in the way, he came towards Lewis, leaving him wide open to the counter.

Phaintin' Phil Scott, Bombardier Billy Wells, Bandsman Rice, Gypsy Daniels, and Jack London.

Just kidding. I couldn't resist since my interests go back to the old stuff. It's amazing how many great heavyweights (and fighters in many other divisions) Great Britain is producing now. My hat is off to the Brits!

Lewis`s fight v Bowe in the Olympics was awful and they were both only around 200lbs in that bout, Audley Harrison won an olympic gold and he was awful, it`s only 3 rounds of boxing. Lewis didn`t beat anyone decent to win the European title, Mason was awful, Lewis`s three defenses were criticised at the time they happened, Lewis was losing to Bruono and landed a lucky punch, he struggled against a shell of a fighter in Tucker.

Fury would have knocked both Bowe and Lewis out if they could have fougt in this era as green as they were in that `88 final and both men would have been too light at that stage to compete with the likes of Wilder and Fury, both of them only weighed 200lbs each.

    1. Lennox
    2. Fury
    3. AJ
    4. Fitzimmons

Fitzimmons is greater than them all P4P. He probably belongs to top 20 or top 30 greatest P4P fighters ever

I don't think Fury would be able to hurt Bowe. He could hurt Lewis, but most likely would fight him safely from the distance like he did against Wlad. Lewis was much more skilled than Wilder, had good inside game and was strong and effective in clinches

I was talking about the Bowe from the olympics that was stopped by a 200lbs Lewis those shots weren`t harder than Fury`s were last night and Holy rocked Bowe in their first fight when he weighed only about 212lbs, Holy wsn`t throwing hard shots like the shots Fury threw last night at that stage of his career, his power increased as he bulked up, Bowe was very easy to hit and Fury would have caught him all night no way could he take that amount of punishment.

For many years I had my top three as given below, and didn't expect it to change very much any time soon:
    1. Lennox Lewis
    2. Bob Fitzsimmons
    3. Tommy Farr

    As of this morning:

    1. Lennox Lewis
    2. Bob Fitzsimmons
    3. Tyson Fury
    4. Anthony Joshua
    5. Tommy Farr

I would say that Fury is one or two wins away from taking the #2 spot, and it would be feasible for Joshua to get into the top two.
