Wlad klitschko Vitali klitschko Lennox Lewis Tyson fury Deontay wilder Anthony Joshua 1-5, then rank each fighter 1-6 in terms of quality of wins
Wlad - Byrd-1, Haye, Povetkin, Chagaev, Peter-1. All are very good opponents and all were in their respective primes. There were also tons of good prime opponents in Wlad's resume - Pulev, McCline, Thompson-1, Brock, Chambers etc. Some guys whom he beat, were past prime but still relevant (Byrd-2, Peter-2, Thompson-2, Shulz). Vitali - Sanders, Hide, Johnson, Peter, Solis? The problem here is that most of Vitali's best opponents were either past their prime (Sanders, Peter) or in awful shape when he fought them, or both (Johnson was in disgusting shape, Peter again, Sanders was in much worse shape than he was against Wlad). Not his fault but still. Lewis - Holyfield, Vitali, Mercer, Tua, Golota. The best bunch of names among all the guys listed here. No doubts about it. But problem here is that Hiolyfield was clearly well past his prime (although still very good), Vitali and Mercer gave Lewis a pure hell and Mercer arguably deserved a win or a draw (I scored the fight 96-95 for Lewis), Tus was in absolutely disgasting shape (the same leevl as Johnson was against Vitali). Golota (or you can replace him with Ruddock) - yeah, that was great win that left no doubts in either outcome, or in opponent's shape. Tyson Fury - Wlad (past prime), Chisora 1 and 2, Cunningham and... Kevin Johnson? Well, he clearly beat Wilder but since it was officially a draw, I can't include it as a win here. Deontay Wilder - old Luis Ortiz, Bermane Stiverne-1, Duhaupas, Szpilka, Breazeale Anthony Joshua - old Wlad, old Povetkin, Parker, Whyte, takam All in all, I'd say Lewis and Wald are clear number 1 and numer 2 respectively. AJ gets my vote as number 3, Vitali is number 4, Fury is number 5 and Wilder in clearly number 6. If you takle into account Fury's win over Wilder, then you can rank Fury over Vitali and AJ, but it's not official, so...

Lennox Lewis is by far the clear #1. He's an all-time great. I'd put Fury and Wilder in a tie for #2 because of their draw and their top wins (Fury over Wlad/Wilder over Ortiz). You can't dismiss Fury's boxing against Wilder for 12 rounds, and you can't dismiss that Wilder floored Fury twice and basically was denied a stoppage win because Jack Reiss let Fury walk around for another 10 seconds after he got up before deciding to let the fight continue (that never happens). And I doubt the others - Wlad, Vitali and Joshua - could even fight Fury or Wilder to a draw. Also, Fury's win over Wlad and Wilder's win over Ortiz is better than any wins Joshua, Wlad or Vitali have (since the Klitschkos didn't fight each other). Frankly, I'd take Luis Ortiz to beat all the guys listed in Wlad, Joshua and Vitali's top five. And Wilder's about to fight Ortiz twice. Seriously, who would take Ortiz to lose to freaking Odlanier Solis or Kevin Johnson, for God's sake. And if you pitted Ortiz against Whyte or Povetkin right now, I'd go with Ortiz. I'd put Joshua ahead of Wlad and Vitali. Whyte is arguably better than anyone Vitali beat. Wlad's best win might be Povetkin. Joshua beat Wlad and Povetkin (which I don't believe is as good as drawing with Fury and knocking out Ortiz). So: 1. Lewis 2. Fury & Wilder (the winner of their rematch gets the number 2 spot) 3. Joshua 4. Wlad 5. Vitali
LOL Prime Wlad would KTFO Wilder Vitali would dominate and stop him late AJ would still probably beat Wilder after Ruiz loss
* Prime Wlad got knocked out by Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster. * Vitali couldn't stop Kevin Johnson or Timo Hoffman late. * Joshua doesn't have a brother (like Wlad and Vitali did) to avenge his losses. And when Wilder gets dropped four times by a late sub and quits, let me know. A.J. needs to prove himself again.
* Sanders was much better boxer than Wilder. He had much better skills, better hand speed and was much less prediclable. He was a southpaw also. Brewster beat Wlad by outtoughing him. He took hell a lot of punishment in that fight. Wilder would be KTFO'ed in 2 rounds if he took the punishment that Brewster took. * Kevin Johnson has better chin and MUCH better defense than Wilder. His offense is almost non-existant, but in the defensive end he looks like prime Pernell Whitaker comparing to Wilder. * Wilder was KTFO'ed by 6'0'' cruiser Evgeny Romanov in the amateurs. He was also knocked down hard against Harold Sconiers (18-27-2, 11 KOs) in the pros.
Good points, but I'd favour Sanders against Wilder and Brewster... Well I don't even know what the **** went on there, but can you honestly see Wlad at his absolute best losing to Brewster? Coz I can't. Vitali's power is very overrated imo, he put his punches together well, not with the force of a Joshua or a Rahman, and definitely not with a Wilder or Wlad like force. I think Vitali's constant pressure and Wilder's iffy chin and non existent defence gets Vitali a TKO Completely agree with the points on Joshua and him having to prove himself again but if he landed clean on Wilder it wouldn't be pretty
Luis Ortiz is a southpaw. Luis Ortiz is better than Corrie Sanders. Corrie Sanders got knocked out by Tony Tubbs' brother. Corrie Sanders was Andy Ruiz. He wasn't supposed to win. He never looked like that against any other top flight heavyweights, before or after. And he obliterated Wlad. And Wlad didn't avenge his loss. Nobody's done that to Wilder. Nobody.
I wouldn't favor Corrie Sanders over anyone who wasn't a cruiserweight. Because, other than Wlad, those are basically the only names he beat. Bobby Czyz. Carlos DeLeon. Johnny Nelson. Al Cole.
Maybe Wilder should start fighting old cruiserweights like Huck and Wlodarczyk and Glowacki ... so you'll see him in the same light as Corrie Sanders.
