Just wait once he beats Froch he'll be in most people's top 5. I don't even have to mention AA he will be absolutely clueless against Ward. His best hope is a haymaker from lest field.

Ward is a consummate professional with great technical skills and ability, even if he is rough and tough. I don't see how Wlad as being in the same hemisphere. Maybe I'm just anti the big HWs but he relies so heavily on his size that I'm yet to be marveled by his technique or skills. He's far more technically than his brother, though. And if a great HW in a bad era dominates smaller guys I just don't see how he makes a top 5 P4P spot. Guess it says a lot about the state of boxing at the moment. When were Lewis and Holyfield in the top P4P lists in the 90s? I don't remember much of that. The last HW to be reveled as the #1 P4P was Tyson and he was a small guy beating bigger guys.

Maybe I'm just far too literally on the meaning of Pound For Pound.

I do fully comprehend on a legacy/record aspect how Wlad is so highly ranked. He's dominant, and has longevity. But as far as skills and ability per weight go... pssshhhh get out of here.

It may. I could just be anti-big. It's really hard to compute. I mean, I could understand if David Haye were higher on a P4P list than Wlad. Hell, he's far less proven... but that's not the point. Wlad relies a wee bit too much on his size to be that highly on a P4P list. I think Lewis was better, and by a decent enough margin to make it worth mentioning. In a sense... when has Wlad ever proved he was a fighter like these guys. Not a boxer, but a multi-faceted fighter who's tough and can box. He doesn't have to be because of the size discrepancy. All of these other guys have, because their fighting bigger guys or guys around their size. It's like he hasn't been tested enough to be ranked so highly. Hmm, maybe I'm wrong.

ward will get ktfo against a loser like abraham - mark my words. he will go the same way as taylor, lacy, jacob, pavlik, flores, judah, dawson, mosley, alexander, ortiz etc and be exposed as a complete american hype job :deal

then the whole process will start again, you will find someone half decent and then throw him in as number 4 in your top 10 p4p :lol::rofl

These are great fighters. Mosley having had a pretty respectable career even if he could be outboxed. Dawson has all the tools, but mentally he seems a little weak.

How about a lifetime ban bet that Ward beats Abraham? I have Ward, obviously. I know you won't comply, and come up with some reason as why not to.

My friend actually just yesterday confused the two. Talking about that new Anarowsky (Spelling) movie she's in with Natalia Portman.

I kinda understand both sides of that argument about Heavys being ranked in the P4P but when one is so dominant I think it has to be recognized by putting them up there. Lewis was ranked in the P4P wasn't he?
