[yt]wPCLsSZ4GXQ[/yt] This was before Groves Degale fight. But Groves not the same after Froch knocked him out in front of 80000 at Wembley. [yt]HyRdb4KEG9s[/yt] [yt]IHxXiSpLIuw[/yt]
It was odd to see him tire so quickly given how hard he trains. He said he didn't gas in an interview I saw of his but why do virtually nothing during so many rounds and allow Dirrell to claw his way back and make it much closer than it should've been if that wasn't the case.
It was totally bizarre. Something was definitely up. After a 10-7 in the second, he did next to nothing, allowed Dirrell back into it so much so that you could easily give an arguement for a draw AD also walked through his punches after 4 or so rounds Gassing makes sense, despite him trying to claim otherwise Have you seen Groves' last 2 fights? Has he really lost it? Here was a guy near the top of the division, power, sills, speed, the lot. 2 wins over James. Was thrashing Froch in the first fight, neck and neck in the second until a One Punch KO in front of 80,000 @ Wembley. Has he really been Froch'd? It wasnt a sustained beating, nor a savage crushing Bute type scenario, it was a dead even, cagey fight ended with a clean perfect One Punch KO (and nothing like a career ending KTFO6 type KO)
Yes it was very strange to see him just stop throwing punches. I think the correct term you are looking for is ''Cobra'd'' lol. I think Groves was better when he was with Adam Booth and was doing his David Haye lite impersonation. He didn't look good in his two most recent fights but maybe he'll be back to his best next time out.
Cobra'd :yep If he can win that trinket of Jack then hopefully that will bring his confidence right back up, and he can get back in the mix with the other 2 where he belongs Dont know aout you Serge but these early start times have totally thrown me. Put on the telly on on Saturday and the bell rang for round 1! Same thing with Bika Stevenson, so missed Beterbiev. Whats with these times?
