    Gomez higher than Morales? :patsch
Gomez clearly showed that he wasn't on the level of boxers like Sanchez and Nelson.

Not his best weight against Sanchez. Past prime and not best weight versus Nelson. Watch some prime, 122 Gomez and get back to us.

I see the word "prime" used too much as an excuse. Age and size were not an issue in these fights as he was 25/28 and at least as big as SS and Nelson.

Fighters peak and decline at different times you know.Sub-featherweight fighters especially often peak earlier and are finished by early thirties.

As my avatar suggests, my all-time favorite fighter was Sanchez and I thoroughly enjoyed his beatdown of Gomez. But I try to be objective and it is clear to see from film that Gomez was not the same fighter above 122. There is a saying, which I didn't invent: "Good big man beats good small man".

All credit to Manny Pac for disproving this theory, but in the whole, it is usually the case.

It's Benitez or Gomez for me:huh

Is it Benitez who won 3 genuine world crowns at just the young age of 22 or the unstoppable & devastating record breaking 122 LB monster & 3 weight king Bazooka Gomez:huh

    Gomez
    Benitez
    Morales
