  1. Jimmy Thunder vs. Chris Arreolla

    Tim Witherspoon vs. Alexander Povetkin

    Alexander Dimitrenko vs. Zelejko Mavrovic

    Oliver McCall vs. Nikolay Valuev

    Tommy Morrison vs. Ruslan Chagaev

I personally think these are all 50/50 fights maybe some 60/40.

I will give you my thoughts after I get out of work, just wanted to get a head start and see how you guys see this going out.

For now ill just say ill pick Thunder, Witherspoon, Mavrovic, Valuev, and Morrison. But i need to put more thought into it, its just off the top of my head on who i think will win.

If you tried just a LITTLE BIT harder, you might -MIGHT- be able to come up with a duller and more boring set of fighters to over-analyze. I'm not sure.

  3. Well i never said they would be exciting :tired:p

Actually, I think McCall could KO Valuev and seeing Valuev KO'd would be exciting as ****, I dunno about you. :D

I think Thunder vs. Arreola would be a blast too.

Witherspoon vs. Povetkin just reeks of boredom tho. Povetkin is a boredom but he can be exciting. Same as Witherspoon but yea i agree this would be boring.

Mavrovic vs. Dimitrenko would be ****in awesome!! Two stand up Eastern Europeans going at it none stop.

Prime Mavrovic would of KO'd Dimitrenko imo.

Chagaev vs. Morrison is kinda hard for me to interpret but a KO is a good possibility here, but i think it would be a bit boring as well..

Anyways this topic wasn't made for this to be boring I just picked guys from the 90's vs todays guys in 50/50 or simular fights.

  4. So nobody else here thinks a prime Thunder would whoop Areolas ass?

    Yes

  9. You really think Chagaev could beat a prime Morrison?

Like im saying the Chagaev from Ruiz vs Morrison from the early 90's (vs. Joe Hipp... or later parts, vs. Razor)

A southpaw, Vs. Morrison's shakey chin is always a gamble. The Hipp fight is a good example of heart.
(The Ruddock fight is a showcase for Tommy's power)

But Chagaev has more boxing ability than Hipp did, IMO.
Yes he looked like **** aganst Wlad, BUt Chag can defo take a better shot than TM.

If Tommy would hit him flush w/a left hook it's light's out.
But over the distanse of a fight, I'd prob favor the polished Chag.

  11. Good stuff man. :thumbsup

I think Tommy knocks Ruslan the **** out. You have to remember that Tommy showed a good jab as well. He was not all brawler.

  13. Maybe so... It would be a close fight tho!
