5. Hagler-Hearns Round 1 4. Gatti-Ward Round 9 3. Castillo-Corrales Round 10 2. Fury-Wilder Round 12 1. Pacquiao-Cotto Round 4 (Pacquiao KDing Cotto was and is still the craziest thing I'd ever seen)
Gatti - Ward was 2 sissies pretending to hit each other and then pretending to be injured. BS fake WWE fake fight. Hagler - Hearns is a great candidate and easily the best on the list. Castillo - Corales is the second best. After that I don't really care much about the other choices.
Still remember the pac cotton fight right before the kd my cuz was trying to bet me $1000 should have taken the bet
1. Hagler vs Hearns 1, 1st round 2. Gatti vs Ward 1, 9th round 3. Castillo vs Corrales, 10th round 4. Pacquiao vs Cotto, 4th round* 5. Wilder vs Fury, 12th round There's definitely a few other Pacquiao rounds that I liked better than this one. Heavyweights are boring compared to the lower weights, Wilder vs Fury is clearly last
Nope. You're not deleting this. Your punishment for spewing this dumb garbage is having it remain for posterity.
Hagler-Hearns. And I also believe there are other greater Pac rounds than Pac vs Cotto, Pac-JMM 4 for instance or Pac-Morales 1, even though both ended against Pac's favor, still have breathtaking rounds. Pac-Thurman rd1 is also similar in terms of scintillating, back and forth performance by both fighters. I'd say I was more impressed with Pacman dropping Thurman like that than Pacquiao dropping Cotto both times.
Zero representation from the Izzy-Rafa trilogy? Boy sit your ass down. You're grounded from thread making for a week.
In order: 1. Hagler/Hearns (One of the greatest rounds ever, bar none) 2. Castillo Corrales (Another one of the greatest rounds ever) 3. Gatti/Ward (phenomenal round) 4. Pac/Cotto (I barely remember this round anymore). 5. Wilder/Fury, (main thing memorable was Fury's undertaker impression), other than that, good round but doesn't compare to the list
Hagler/Hearns, Castillo/Corrales, Gatti/Ward... all time best rounds (and fights) ever. What are Pac/Cotto and Wilder/Fury doing on there?! Haha. Foreman/Lyle is among the caliber of the top flight as well if I'm just throwing out another classic on their level. Forget which round(s) were most epic from it off top of my head though.
5. Gatti-Ward round 9 - Good round, seeing Gatti get up from that body shot is a tremendous display of heart. My only problem is they are both tired and throw sloppy punches, which is understandable after fighting at the pace they did the entire fight. Boy were they tired! 4. Castillo-Corrales round 10 - Something straight out of a rocky movie. All I'm gonna say about it. 3. Pacquiao-Cotto round 4 - Great round and great KD, would rank it higher if it wasn't so one-sided. 2. Fury-Wilder round 12 - How the heck did he get up man? Shows the difference between the best and the greatest competitors is heart. I am a Fury fan too, so I'm biased. 1. Hagler-Hearns Round 1 - One of my favorite fights, and arguably the best round of the fight (though there weren't many to choose from), lots of action and power shots. Seeing Hagler rush out and immediately turn it into a WAR is why I think it's the best, the rest of these fights already had momentum going and coming out of rounds, but Hagler brought the pain and Hearns returned the favor.
Pac-Cotto and Wilder-Fury kind of don't belong here, great rounds don't get me wrong but there's better.
