To be fair I thought it was Ali from the Holmes fight, Ali from Spinks two may not rank dead last, he’s still close to it though.

Yea Foreman's Moorer win is great on paper. I don't think it was a good performance at all though.

True but I think Foreman at 40 was a bit better than the version that faced off against Moorer.

Foreman would liquidate all of them except maybe Holyfield. Lewis was blocking punches with his face against Vitali. . Wlad was engaged in a clinch every 5 seconds against Povektin. Tyson was struggling with Botha.

Dino, are you in klit-drunkmode again?

Stewart, Coetzer and Morrison made him wear sunglasses for a month until Moorer made him lose 9 rounds straight until something finally hit pure glass, a punch that anybody on that list including prob. any name fallen in this thread so far simply would have taken.

If I remember this right, most thought a fight between him and Holmes would lead to getting his head popped, another time.

Foreman against 37 years old Wlad, Lennox or the Vitali from 2003?

The way he lost against Holyfield, is there really something else to expect against a version who could give a 35 years old Lewis a tough battle?

Evander performed better against a good offensive fighter than Forreman did v a lesser fighter in Coetzer, Holy simply looked better at that age than Foreman did v Coetzer and may have lost speed but wasn`t as slow as Foreman was by that stage.

Foreman was 44 then , not 40. . btw Foreman savaged Coetzer , ending his career in the process.

I agree with what you`re saying but he is right about Lewis blocking Vitali`s punches with his face, he looked really ragged that night.

Foreman of the Stewart bout was younger too. Not sure if he was that much better, I#d set his age to 40 to get him closer to that of the others, but his accomplishments came afterwards.

    1) Because Vitali was young with awkward upper body movement and a solid puncher himself
    2) Because Vitali got an iron mandible and traded with him
    3) Because Vitali indeed was able to maul with Lennox after taking heavy bombs in the first place

What do you see after The Mummy taking those shots? Go Vitali-mode and bomb with Lennox?

Foreman was getting hit a lot more than the other guys on this list by that stage of his career.

    Lewis`s head movement was awful.

You need to actually watch these fights. Stewart jumped on his peddle bike and skedaddled around the ring after very nearly suffering a second round blow out. If he didn't adjust his style he was a goner. Standing in front of Foreman or try to clinch him 180 times will only produce one result..

I saw this fight more than once, as I did saw Foreman face take the shape of an overripe fruit basket.

So how does this go, against Wlad of 2013 or Vitali/Lennox of 2003 ? Better than Morrison? Or Stewart? Or maybe Moorer-mode, trying to shatter fragile crystals?
