It's not even close that was an epic WAR. Marquez nose was broken again and looked like his legs was gone. But out of no where KABOOM! Lands a peach! Never seen a fight like that since. Legit ATG war. You have to go back to Hagler and Hearns to see something similar.

 

It was what should be defined as a sensational KO as Lampley put it so brilliantly. I ranked Povetkin's KO of Whtye just ahead of Pacman KO of Ricky because to me, Povetkin's uppercut hit the mark and with it being Heavyweights, the connect was just so solid. Whyte was completely F'ed. Out Stone Cold all the way down. And being 6'5'' thats a long hard fall. And plus, Povetkin was the underdog in the fight, as Pacman was picked to beat Hatton. And im def not taking anything away from Manny's spark of RIck, it was a gem. But when your an underdog against someone violent like Whyte and score that bomb, it to me deserved a 3 spot
