As the thread title indicates, how would you place these men below in order of their chins: Foreman Holmes Holyfield Tyson Frazier
Foreman Frazier Holyfield Holmes Tyson tied list is kind of unfair considering they all had good chins. All had been knocked down. But Frazier was never counted out right?
Foreman Holyfield Holmes Tyson Frazier All have great chins and Frazier has more heart than anyone on the list though. Also i think if any of them had met the Foreman who beat frazier, then they'd all be KO'd and look worse chin-wise
Holyfield Foreman Holmes Tyson Frazier 1-4 is very narrow IMO Frazier is the clear 5 out of this crew
I honestly cant see foreman even being dropped by Bowe, much less knocked out. Look what Morrison (who hits harder than Bowe) did to foreman
Foreman, Tyson and Holyfield all had awesome chins, I'm fine with any order for these 3. Holmes is second to them. Frazier last in this lineup of amazing chins.
Foreman No.1 He took all a puncher like Lyle could give, I don`t see Tyson surviving a war like that (even though he would win without getting hit as much) Holy might have survived that but was knocked out by Bowe and Lyle punched harder. Frazier took some good shots but was destroyed by Foreman, Holmes No.2 because he may have taken the hardest shot in history and came back, but was knocked out by Tyson, while I think Foreman at that age in `88 would have took Tyson`s shots better than Larry did. So Holy No.3 I feel he was tougher mentally than Mike even though Mike took Ruddock`s best shots, he was knocked out by Douglas. Frazier No.5.
A sign of a good chin is having the ability to straight away get back up from a knock down and shake it off in record fashion as if nothing happened.
Holyfield Tyson Holmes Foreman Frazier Though I could be argued into giving Foreman more credit, based upon his terrible defensive technique.
