Well, cooper nothing special, he just showed that evander was not Superman and he could be hurt and even stopped by prime great hws specially before he added a lot of muscle. He took a much better shot when he weighed between 215-218 past his prime.
Rahman the same thing... A lucky shot, he was nothing special.
Moorer was a very good fighter.
Mccall was decent but nothing special,a strong guy with a solid chin.
Douglas was a good boxer but was hot and cold, Tyson was horrible that night so Douglas looked better than he actually was.
Schmeling overrated like hell, a lot of hws would have beaten this version of him and badly.
Tunney got even dropped by a past prime dempsey,not impressed by him at all at hw.
Spinks was facing a Holmes in his end and still it was pretty close.
Young was another cold and hot guy. One night could look like a master and then he could look mediocre in another fight, plus he could not break an egg.
Norton always looked great against Ali because stylistical motives but this same version got smashed against Foreman.
Lyle showed that he was very dangerous toe to toe for any puncher.
I would have mentioned spoon when he fought holmes too.

Spoon would be the best h2h overall.
The full list h2h is very hard to make because the reason that i told you before. But the best guys h2h over 200 pounds obviously are spoon,lyle,Norton,douglas,young,moorer, not in order

 

I’m not high on spoon but to be fair they’re all pretty close in the middle

Explanation? He was simply better... Much more class as fighter,harder puncher and when he was at his best he looked much greater fighter than schmeling. Don't worry, i know that you are a big fan of the german so feel free to be disagree.

Just like schmeling lost to the tomato can jack taylor and got knocked out by gains in 2 rounds..
Or destroyed by gipsy daniels in a single round.
Or when he lost against hamas. Or ****ed by the crude baer.
When walcott knocked out charles cold and he dropped Louis like a yo yo he was better than any version of schmeling.
