    Ward is not an ATG.

    ATG fighters don't refuse to leave their home country, and they don't need dodgy judges (Kovalev I) or dishonest refs who permit them to foul (Kessler, Kovalev II, etc).

    Stop the cap. He is clearly ATG at 168. He is the best 168 lber ever with Calzaghe and Jones.

    Kessler bout was suitable for technical decision. Ward was already outboxing him easily.

    Kovalev fight could go either way. I scored 114-113 for Ward.

    Why Usyk over Canelo?

    Because he has no question marks over his victories. No PEDs, no stacked wraps, no Vegas home advantage, no catchweights at 155lb, short camps for opponents or strangely favourable judging over and over again.

    Usyk has fought his opponents in their backyards and KTFO, he's fought prime opponents and he's fought right around the world. He fought Joshua in his home country where people - including me - doubted that he could get a decision and boxed so soundly and well that even Adelaide Byrd would have blushed at giving the fight to anybody but him.

    Finally, he looks like the Kurgan which is bonus points for me.

    Why even include Donaire if you acknowledge the other three are closer to cementing ATG status and clearly all have more time before they either decline steeply or retire than he does? :thinking:

    Nobody's going to put him anywhere but fourth, just not sure what sense it makes. :nusenuse:

    Ah, just saw this. N/m. :thumbsup:

    (but the above point stands - while he very arguably has made the grade; he's clearly more of an on-the-bubble ATG than any of the other three, who already have it locked up)
