That's about how I rank them too, but in some ways I was a little iffy on pav/Margo for 2nd place. I picked Froch first because he surprised me that he actually slipped a couple punches and boxed a little going backwards and controlled parts of his fight with Kessler with his jab.

Why'd you rank them like that>?

    Froch can move and box
Pavlik has a great jab/right hand combo

Marg just throws caution to the wind and neglects defense.

Froch by a fairly wide margin.
    Pavlik a distant second
Margarito: 'skills' isn't a word I associate with Mr. Plasterhands

Margarito doesn't try to avoid or block punches as much as Pavlik or Froch (not that those 2 have great defense) But he's a better fighter than Pavlik and Froch too...

Margarito throws effective combination's as opposed to just flurries, and he has a nice uppercut and mixes it up to body and head. He doesn't just throw caution to the wind.

I was wondering if anybody would mention the uppercut, thats his most effective punch. He's the lowest defensively in my mind (not that the others are great) but he can put punches together pretty effectively.

explanation: Froch knows how to fight relatively well, Pavlik knows how to double the ****ing jab, Margarito knows how to cheat and to block punches with his face.

    Froch
    Pavlik
    MArgo

Margo is a cheater. He is awakard as helll. He misses badly on most of his punches.

Kelly is a beer drinking, psychologically disturbed flame out who has a good skills for his style but is a long ways away from being duran.

Froch is a very good fighter who has lots of subtle moves the be affective. He has better movement then the other two. His ring IQ is higher as well. He is a very good counter part and he can very his jab. Honestly these other two kinda really suck compared to him.

    Froch
    Margarito
    Pavlik

    ---------------

Froch has his own unique style. His improv's in the ring are somewhat amateurish, but effective. His fundamentals are flat out god awful. But his damn mind, stamina and timing are a menacing combination. He's on the top of the list.

Now I had a hard time choosing between Pavlik and Marg. As much as we want to **** on Tony for having no defense. He actually does. He doesn't care about taking shots to the dome because he feels he fairs well against them. But he does have this tendency to be very weary of blocking his body. He tucks his elbows down REALLY good. Shane had success because he stabbed straight down the middle. If he tried to throw hooks, he most likely wouldn't have been as successful. Margarito's punching arsenal goes beyond a simple 1-2. His stamina and output put him slightly above Margo.

Pavlik hit bottom because although he doubles the ****ing jab and has a good 1-1-2...that's really ALL he has. It's a bit pathetic. When he throws anything other than that, he has great success, but decides to go back to the ****in' jab and straight right hand. He has the tools to be pretty ****in' good, but it's the same **** everytime. Jab jab straight right. Stay away from the right hand and you're golden. At least Margarito had other punches in his arsenal that had you in all sorts of ****.
