    Actually Vargas is easy top 10 JM i have him roughly around 7 or 8. I agree with you on Genaro, but i think it was his hands that were the problem he through very hard punches but his hands were brittle, can you imagine Genaro with big power? Man he would have been an ATG if he did, and he would have had it not been for his hands as it was he had decent power. I was really big on Ruelas and i saw Future atg written all over until after the Garcia tragedy. Art wasnt a paisa in fact he use to **** of some of the Mexicano fans cause he said he was Spanish:lol: You know that always gets the Mexicanos going.

    Paez was well past his prime by that point. His prime was prior to the Ruelas fight, which is when Lopez beat him.

    I have met people from New Mexico that say the same thing. I met a girl from there that when I finished with her she finally admitted that she had Mexican in her.

    Ok i stand corrected:good I had forgotten about that, what i should have said was that Paez was still a good fighter but on the slide, he actually gave Genaro a tough fight.

    :lol::lol: Literally or figuratively:huh:lol:

    Actually though there were alot of Spaniards that settled there many centuries ago, lot of the latinos that have been in New Mexico for centurys are mixed with Mexican,Native American,Spanish and White too. Notice lot of huero complexions over there like Tapia for instance.

    Intresting stuff:good Your girl cousin that lives in England reminds me of Julia Roberts.

    Ok back to my list im still having a tough time seperating these guys

    Art Aragon probably has the most wins over top competition although he never got a title shot. Mando Ramos might be the most skilled but fell short of his potential, Fernando Vargas has some good wins and his skills are a little underrated but he had a short career compared to many of the others. Palomino might have the best name here but was he really better than some of those guys^^ probably not as physically gifted as them. Albert Davila imight be the best boxer of all of them,but although he has some good wins he is more known for losing to the best. Diego Corrales was a great puncher and actually has some big wins as well as 2 titles despite a few glaring weakness as a ring general. Tony Lopez might have the best resume here and at JL was pretty damn good for a while but i also see most of these guys as better all around fighters. Paulie Ayala has become underrated i thought he was quick handed excellent chin and a good boxer but below average power, and i thought the 1st Tapia fight could have been a draw and Tapia should have got the 2nd win. Gabriel Ruelas should have been better than all these guys but he probably has the lesser resume of these guys.

    I think it will be tough due to a lack of film... who is on your top ten...

    my strength is in Mexican fighters from Mexico not Chicano's.

    I honestly don't think that Ayala belongs in the top 20 at all.

    Tony Lopez is the Chicano version of Miguel Angel Gonzalez...

    Actually i Ricardo you can find all these guys on you tube:yep Check it out! I would post them on here but i dont know how:patsch:-( Art aragons fight with Basillio is on there(not one of his best fights) and all those other guys i pretty much grew up with or fought fairly recently. mando Ramos was a little before my time but ive seen alot of footage of him,also met him several times before he passed away. Always a regular at the fights Forum,Olympic etcetc a real joker and a helluva a nice guy had been sober for many years, Maybe you didnt recognize him at the fights as he was weighing at least 100lbs over his fighting weight.
    As for Lopez he was much quicker as a JL than at LW where he slowed down, he actually had good lateral movement and good boxing skills when he was younger. When he slowed down he was more of a gritty rough and tough fighter.
