No, were you? If not, what's your reasoning for having Baer so low?

I take that back. Baer should be last. Witherspoon should be higher. Editing now.

Baer had all the advantages that come with wearing small gloves and fighting small fighters, but seems to have not ko'd anyone of note. His stoppage wins were all tko's.

Logic? In this forum? You're in the wrong place my friend, you'd better leave (apologies to Bob Dylan).

I figured you guys would under rate Haye in this thread. I don't know why he gets so much hate and criticism. At his best he only lost to a prime Wladimir. He was way past it when he fought Bellew, his body was falling apart. His power however is undeniable. He destroyed a prime Chisora in 5. Vitali went the distance with him. He's one of only two people to ever KO Ruiz, and he's the only fighter I ever saw Rock 7foot tall Valuev the way that he did. I would put Hayes power within the top 3 for sure.

I like this logic. Starting from the bottom I agree Mcall and Haye should come last based on the heavyweights they knocked out and how they did it. Their most famous knockouts were based on strategically landing a punch blind within a gameplan that worked out. It’s not like they had numbing power the rest of the time.

Tim was a big guy who put a lot of leverage and weight into a sneaky overhand right near the ropes or on the break. He fell in behind it with everything on it. It was a kind of cheap shot that was hard to defend against even if it was within the rules. I’m not saying it wasn’t hard, but the weight on it and sneak value had more to do with it being of value.

smith was a very strong man. His technique didn’t have to be good. He had power. And it came from either hand. Real dynamite. But the guy was not beating anyone to the draw. He was just dangerous being himself.

Ingo and Baer just had pure natural punching instinct. And world class ability to land with it. Heavy hands and lightning reactions. They are the most dangerous punchers here. Natural numbing power and they could beat you to the draw.
