Hrgovic in the lead comfotably so far. Dubois Makhmudov Gorman Yoka Dychko Sirenko I like the look of Makhmudov as a prospect up to now, but he's won them all easily. He's due to face Jon Rice soon so he's keeping busy. Yoka has been out due to his ban. Dychko and Sirenko have potential but need to step up their progress.
I agree about Hrgovic. I personally would have Dubois in the bottom two, because there's serious question marks about his chin, he's been dropped numerous times in sparring, Sirenko himself dropped Dubois heavily in Povetkins camp. Chin is very important, especially for a heavyweight.
Agree somewhat with your points about DD. I've heard about Dubois being dropped in sparring. He may not have the fortitude of chin necessary for the top, time will tell, I guess. Sirenko and Dychko have looked strong, but should be facing better opposition imo and Dychko hasn't boxed in a long time, which is why I placed them bottom two. I do rate them as prospects.
very surprised a top promoter hasn't signed Dychko, a huge 6ft 9 guy with solid all round skills. who medalled at every major tournament in the amateurs and is still quite young for a heavyweight at 28.
Sirenko is the best. The only fighter coming up before 2022 that can be on Joshuas level which REQUIRES skill /power and brains along with a style and trainer capable of making a blue print to take down Joshua and no one but him has the abilities all in one. Its going to be Joshua's best and most dangerous fight WHEN it happens ,mark the thread. Hrgovic isn't a prospect and would cause Sirenko the most difficulties but lose late. Out of the other actual prospects not refined this year who I think keep it close. 1. DDD 2. Yoka 3. Gorman 4. Mahkmudov 5. Dychko Vlad Sirenko will be EXTREMELY difficult to defeat you'll see. Hes operating on another level and when he climbs into the top 20 you'll see guys run...run far away ,its a fact.
