You do realise Hatton was beaten by two of the best boxers over the last few decades. Not saying he an atg but to hold losses against Manny and Floyd over as if there is shame in that is crazy.

funny how people belittled hatton now after his last lost. His resume is still intact and can have a case in being ranked above any of those 5 guys. But i still put him in the lowest position because i do not see him any better than any of those 5 guys ability wise.

The resume of those 6 guys are almost in equal playing field

    1. Hamed.
    2. Cotto.
    3. Vazquez
    3. Marquez
    3. Hatton

Hamed by a mile. I can't see how some people are rating him bottom of there list. It's obviously down to opinion, but clearly you must not have seen the majority of his bouts, and possibly just basing your opinion of him on his loss to Barrera.

Thing with Calderon's division is too few decent fighters there compare to WW.

He ruled over a weak ass division. Once it began to flourish with great talent, he ran into Floyd and Pac and now he's shot.

Name me fighters he fought that weren't shot to **** or green as ****.

The only fighter he should've fought at JWW was Cotto...but it never happened.

He never fought Witter, Holt, Torres, Bradley, Kotelnik, Maidana...I mean there was a decent upcoming crop he could've fought at the time and he didn't. Now there's serious talent here and Bradley's resume is slowing surpassing Hatton's.

His single win over Tsyzu is the only thing keeping him in contention amongst the best @ 140.

    Marquez is being seriously underrated.

Willing to bet some of you never heard of Tim Austin and Too Sharp Johnson!

    by your reasoning:

    1) Hamed- beat by MAB
    2) Cotto- destroyed by garbage Margo
    3) Marquez- destroyed 4 times
    4) Calderon- beat by Mayol
    5) Hatton- destroyed by anyone good
    6) Vazquez- destroyed by garbage Larios

By running away from JMM. Face it, Hamed was at least 30% hype. Good fighter, but he never saw the day when he would have beaten MAB, EM or JMM and he knew it. That's why he lobbied the sanctioning organizations to let him bypass his #1 contender so many times, he knew what was coming if he got in the ring with JMM.

    1. Cotto
    2. Marquez
    3. Hamed
    4. Vazquez
    5. Hatton

Rafa has some GREAT wins before he stepped up in weight to face Izzy, and imho is the better p4p fighter. Cotto has faced elite competition, the best of anyone on this list, won some and lost some. Hamed is just short of a great fighter, in his prime probably better than Izzy, Hatton brings up the rear. If he had fought KT in the states, we wouldn't even be talking about him because he would have lost to an old fighter.
