You know what I mean ?
The greatest Boxing nation is the USA... second is Mexico IMO...
After that... is all wide open, can be argued many different ways.....

Now, rank these specific Nations below in order, which has the best boxing history ?
    In order.

OR JUST SAY WHICH ONE IS THE BEST........ no need to rank all them in order!

    Italy
    Germany
    France
    Canada
    Ghana
    Jamaica
    Ireland

    I go first...

I am not looking at boxrec, especially because number of belt holders doesn't mean all that much.....

    1-Canada
    2-France
    3- Germany maybe

Hmm this is harder than I though, if you wanna say only which is the best out of these 7, that's enough.......

Ireland, by Nationality, not always by birth and shouldn't really count if one didn't learn or fight from there.

    Canada
    France
    Germany

Italy, same as Ireland, but I have listed it lower thinking of the few champions & contenders who resided there. lol big boost with Hagler though.

    Jamaica
    Ghana

Canada because Chuvalo and Lewis, I really don't know much about the other countries or Canada beyond that as far as boxing

Sam Langford, George Dixon & Tommy Burns are substantially greater than Chuvalo, from an historic & P4P perspective.

UK would be number 1 in Europe, I guess.... not sure if they are better than Canada though.

Now, is UK a country though ? It isn't, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are 4 countries. Wales has (it seems to me) a richer boxing history than England (at least from the top of my head regarding ATGs)

Jack Delaney, Johnny Coulon and Lou Broillard are also. A lot of Hall of Fame guys in Canada, quite surprising if you ask me.

Obviously I don't mean irish-americans. If that was the case USA would have no fighter ever, unless it's a native-american descent guy, which I don't remember any.
Rocky Marciano don't count as italian, De La Hoya don't count as mexican, or Joe Frazier as african... they are all americans.

Well, there is a very small pool, where almost all the success has came from boxers from the Ulster section of the island.
Much of the athletes in the south are swept up by the National games of Gaelic football and hurling, and apart from acting tough, very little has ever came out of Dublin.

In terms of small pool, Panama gets the award for the best Boxing country in the world. 4 million people in the whole country and one top 5 ATG and so many other champions.
