They are all quite close. It's difficult to put them in order as there isn't much seperating most of them, but I'll go with this order.

    1.MIKE McCALLUM (easily)

2.MARCO ANTONIO BARRERA (so underrated on this forum. Great resume)

2=ERIK MORALES (joint 2nd with Barrera)

4.SHANE MOSLEY (has climbed a few spots after last night)

5.JAMES TONEY (also underrated. Great mw/smw resume, great achievement competing at hw)

6.FELIX TRINIDAD (sorry tito4eva, I've had a change of heart! The manner of the loss to Wright and his lack of variety as a fighter damages his greatness IMO)

7.RICARDO LOPEZ (should be higher but resume is too weak. Should've fought Carbajal and Gonzalez)

8.JOE CALZAGHE (resume is too weak to justify being placed any higher)

9.WINKY WRIGHT (a very good fighter but not sure if a great one)

10.JUAN MANUEL MARQUEZ (I expect him to have climbed a number of spots on this list by the time he retires. Even though I am a huge fan, his resume is not good enough yet and the loss to John harms him)

Given that quite a few have McCallum in your top five how would you rate Nigel Benn considering that he is the man who ruined him?

Mosley goes ahead of four fighters you previously ranked him behind on the strength of beating Margarito?

Partly why I did the list was to see how people now rated Shane after the Margo win. Most of these lot are perhaps closely ranked though.

Yes. I rank these guys so so closely that any fight can tip the balance in favour of any of them. Example: I have Trinidad ahead of Calzaghe just now by a whisker. If Calzaghe fights Hopkins or Dawson in the summer and dominates them, I'll look at his resume again and think that with that win added, he would then be slightly ahead of Tito. If Tito then returned to mw and upset Pavlik, I'd have to sit down and think if that achievement would pull him ahead of Calzaghe again. When you rank a group of fighters as closely as I do guys like Toney,Mosley,Trinidad,Calzaghe etc, any fight can tip the balance, dependant of the quality of the win. And Mosley at 37 years old upsetting the odds to become the first man to KO the iron-chinned champion and favourite, and win every round in the process, was a huge win. Huge.
