Rank these three in order. You can base it on h2h, accomplishments, or a mixture of both. It's a tough one, but I go just as I posted them:

    1) Qawi
    2) Eddie Mustafa
    3) Saad

A rock, paper, scissors type question. Saad's losses to Qawi were kinda like Cokes' career ending bad losses to
Napoles. Too bad Qawi & Eddie never tangled.

    Qawi
    Saad
    Eddie

I think you can make reasonable arguments all around. There's not much between them in various ways.

    Saad
    Qawi
    Mustafa

Saad did the most at LHW

Mustafa underachieved. Saad overachieved. Qawi achieved about what you'd expect, but he could have done more at 175 lbs. His lack of dedication caused him to balloon up in weight. He was never as effective at 190 lbs. as he had been at 175 lbs.

Eddie has never made the IBHOF, unlike the other two.

    Qawi

    Saad

Eddie (talented, but, just too inconsistent)

In theory, Saad could likely have done better against Qawi if he had been a few years fresher. But, I tend to think that the almost impossible to hurt version of Qawi at LHW would always be problematic for Saad. I don't think any fighter short of the Cruiserweight Holyfield had any serious chance of stopping prime Qawi. And Qawi's reflexes were amazing.

I like Saad the best of the three(and all three were great fighters), but I'll go with the general consensus here:

    Qwai
    Saad
    Eddie

Eddie third on most poster's lists?...
    Inconsistent? Yes
    Head demons? Yes
Stupid for ballooning up for the Snipes mess? Yes
Devoid of his demons and his inconsistences one of the greatest fighters to ever step into the ring? YES!
I know, what I'm saying could be applied to a handful of great fighters but...
I can count on ONE hand the number of fighters that possessed his talent...
Numbing right hand, lights out left hook up OR down, jab, ring moxie, and...no one could knock this guy out.
Head on straight? Clearly better than Spinks. Lastly, find some old posts from John Garfield watching a young Eddie as a Golden Gloves welter in early 1970's.
I'd like to meet Eddie and tell him my feelings.
    One ATG badass m....r f....r !!
