British English European Commonwealth WBU or WBF or IBO are there any others?? I guess it depends on who the champion is really
1/ european l. 2/ british 3/ commonwealth -used to be second when i was growing up but definatley behind british now 4/english-new belt still more worthy than the worthless baubles underneath. 5/wbu/ibo/wbf all tied for last
Hmm this is a tough one, because i think the IBO belt is rising in credibility ... look at some of their champions: Klitschko, Hatton, Tarver, Donaire etc etc ... So its definitely above WBF and WBU etc etc/ So my list is as follows ... 1. European 2. IBO 3. British 4. Commonwealth 5. English 6. WBU/WBF
if boxing diehards like ourselves get taken in by wbu/ibo/xyz then promoters will continue to feed us garbarge and package it with a nice shiny belt.
Okay, but the IBO has tended to wait for someone good to come along and then quietly add their belt to their collection. You get the feeling that the owner isn't all that bothered about it (apart from Tarver, but he's just clutching at a bit of a straw there I feel). Still though, that's more than the WBF or WBU manage, so point taken.
The fighters make the belts in my opinion. So you could rank em in any order depending on who has what.
