It could be, if he won every round and knocked him out in the 12th.

There are plenty of A level, or elite fighters around today. We aren't saying they can't get better, or there has never been a better fighter. Just that overall, they are top level at the moment. Beating Hopkins is a top level win.

Its easy to pick holes and tear down any fighters career.

People on here will always favour certain fighters and rate them above boxers they dislike (or are bias against).

Im a big fan of Benn, Eubank, Hopkins and Calzaghe....but I constantly find myself defending Calzaghe because it seems many cannot be objective and underrate the man. Maybe in time this will change.

I wouldn't say TFFP had an agenda against Joe Calzaghe. Even he acknowledges that out of who has the better resume between Calzaghe, and Benn it is at least a point of contention (not that it "shouldn't even be an argument" - like you say). He has in the past anyway.

TFFP has the complete opposite of an agenda against Calzaghe - probably the most die hard of his objective fans

calzaghes resume is better then benns IMO, like TFFP has said many times, calzaghe has beaten hopkins who is a legend in the ring, and kessler who was an unbeaten supermiddleweight champion which was a fifty fifty fight, in fact calzaghe won it quite comfortably in the end.

Calzaghe has beaten better fighters then hes given credit for, the likes of reid and eubank, also great fighters. byron mitchell was a better fighter then he was given credit for.

Benn never beat eubank, he has some good wins, but he has several losses which joe doesnt have and a 0 on your record certainly adds something. to me joes resume is greater then benn's
