Chagaev - bothered by inactivity but a quality fighter completely dominated Byrd 2 - Byrd probably the most experienced fighter (quality wise) on his resume, completely destroyed and KO'd (I'd put Byrd 1 above this as that was a younger, better Byrd but I'm sticking to the list) Haye - Highly hyped, dangerous puncher with speed but a poor HW resume, rendered completly ineffective Peter 1 - crude and still not much more than a prospect but a big puncher, involved a big gut check. Brock - decent fighter, the kind of knock out I'd like to see him produce more often Peter 2 - already hammered by Vitali and rebuilt on bums but came to fight Brewster 2 - not to be confused with the Brewster who beat Wlad, I think he was at least partially blind in one eye for this fight
I said many times, Haye is being hyped like a British Rocky Balboa. When the fight was on, Haye ran like a thief in the night. Agreed, Haye needs to beat a top ten fighter in their prime or near prime. Beating a shot Ruiz or retired Valuev means little.
Haye, Peter 1, Brock, Byrd 2, Peter 2, Chagaev and finally Brewster 2. Chagaev was shot by the time Wlad demolished him and Brewster was half blind so I dont rate those wins that high.
I rate Mercer and Ibragimov as better wins than Haye as well tbh. Haye proved absolutely nothing at HW and was just product of hype. Both Evander and Chagaev beat Valuev a lot more convincingly than Haye did while having less tools at their disposal (IF we believe the nonsense of what Haye was capeble off) Haye is a A- level Cruiser and a B- level Heavy imho.
How the **** are people rating the Brewster of the rematch over Brock???????????????? :? So ****ing what about avenging the loss?
1) Haye - Most anticipated 2) Peter - Most dangerous 3) Chagaev - Most meaningful (Ring Belt) 4) Byrd - Beginning of a dynasty 5) Brewster - Revenge 6) Brock - Unbeaten contender (former Olympian) 7) Peter II - Icing
