Other than Kovalev who do you favor to beat him?
I'll be more than happy to make a ban bet with you. Beterbiev vs Anyone not named Kovalev at 175.

People criticize these Euro fighters like crazy, but then act like Terence Crawford is a god for beating the great Thomas Dulorme.

The least Top Rank could do for them is keep them active and they're not even doing that.
I feel like they're ready for a step up.

I wish Gvozdyk and Mekhontsev had Kovalev or Beterbiev type of power though.

If any of those fights happen, we could make a ban bet.

Champion of what? Because Kovalev is also a world champion in the division. Just wondering what you mean by Adonis being "champion"...

Not Beterbiev/Kovalev type of power, if he did he would have been able to KO/TKO the journeyman that went the distance twice with him.
But he is very technical though and I love his style. If he had monstrous power he would be..

Not as much power but I'd say he posseses the most technical skill just going by an eye test.

Yeah I agree with that. These Ukrainian boxers have really beautiful styles. The only thing I don't like is they are all compared to Lomachenko. They call Usyk the CW Loma, Gvozdyk the LHW Loma, Derevyanchenko the MW Loma. They might have similarities but they all don't fight like Loma.
But I love the Ukrainian "school" of boxing. They have great balance. If Gvozdyk had that type of power he would be, I don't even know what word to use. But like most of these amateur boxers, he needs to develop a better inside game just in case.

Hmmm... I'd say there are smilarities, they all use that high guard, heavy footwork based approach (Usyk I'd say is the most different from Loma), weren't they all trained by the same guy (Loma's father) at some point in their careers at least?

But yeah, it's an absolutely beautiful style of technical boxing, I hope the recent events in Ukraine don't stop them from producing classy boxers such as those four.

I believe so, that's why that 2012 Ukraine team was amazing. I hope he has more prodigies coming up. Similar in style to Lomachenko. I read that the 2020 Ukrainian team was supposed to be amazing. I can't wait!! Hopefully more Lomachenko type of fighters.
