Foreman Liston Dempsey Marciano Klitschko Tyson Louis I feel like from all of the testimony's I have read, all of these guys have different power. Foreman - Big heavy punch that was sort of a push Liston - Similar to Foreman but with more snap Dempsey - Power derived from putting body weight into fast whirling motion. Probably felt like being hit with a big bullet. Unlike Foreman and Liston's power that made you hurt all over, Dempsey's hurt in the spot he hit you but hurt a lot more in that one spot than Foreman or Liston's would in the one spot they hit you. That's what I observe anyway. Marciano - Somewhat of a combination of Dempsey and Foreman/Liston not as strong (in terms of pushing guys around with punches) of a punch though. Klitschko - Very heavy handed with a good combination of speed. I think what gets fighters is Klitschko doesn't throw every punch hard. He paws at you and throws "soft" punches and baits you then unloads for the knockout. Underrated puncher. Tyson - Best combination of speed and power at heavyweight and p4p. His power shocked guys and was definitely novel in what it felt like compared to the other punchers of his era. Louis - Very accurate with his shots. For not having the hardest punch he was undoubtedly one of the best knockout artists. I don't think he had punches that felt like they broke your bones like Dempsey's. What made Louis deadly was his ability to finish opponents when he had them in trouble.
Funny how the guys not considered heavyweights by today's standards put up a better fight than any of the guys that Dempsey beat who would be considered heavyweights by today's standards.
Hardest rt hand. Bear then Dempsey...then Louis...shavers...Marciano..Sheppard...foreman........hardest left...Dempsey...Louis...foreman... Liston..Tyson ...Walcott's was powerful also thanks
A different way to look at it. Jab - Liston Hook - Wlad Body shot - Tyson Uppercut - Foreman Right Cross - Louis Overhand right - Marciano Combinations - Dempsey Best range to deliver the punch - Lewis Everyone happy now?
Nobody in the history of boxing would be able to put Frazier down 6 times in 6 minutes. Foreman wins this easily.
