The way I see it, there are 4 hws with a more credible argument that they could come out on top of the division. I'm rooting for Fury, I'd have a slight preference for Wilder over AJ, and would be by far least happy with Usyk coming out on top. So, for me: 1. Fury 2. Wilder 3. AJ 4. Usyk Who do you want to come out on top in the division? Give your own ranking.
Fury: Personality. Usyk: Great story. Joshua: Good for the sport. Wilder: corruption, cheating, ducking, cherrypicking. No need to explain...
1) Usyk. How can you not love this guy? Fast, skilled, takes risks and gave us a great boxing meme. Incredibly likable in and out of the ring. 2) Joshua. Bit cringe, very superficial, but his continued success could have an excellent knock on effect in British boxing. Has hitherto shown that he is willing to challenge himself more than Wilder IMO. 3) Fury/Wilder. Both of these guys talk way too much. Fury claimed he could become undisputed at 400lbs only to renege on it and demand any fight with Joshua or Wilder be on his terms. Wilder claimed to be the greatest HW of all time when his best win was Bermane ****ing Stiverne at the time. Those levels of delusion and hypocrisy are quite insufferable to me and when statements like this are made they make an utter mockery of the sport.
Usyk - would love to see a smaller guy at the top again, tired of the big ass Lurches ruling the division. AJ - Lately been boring, but I like his style normally. Wilder - Not a fan, I will admit he's a very exciting fighter and I tune to every one of his fights but his lack of technique and and his tendency to disrespect his opponents annoys me. Fury - My least favourite, annoying overbearing personality, very disrespectful, boring style with little punching power given how big he is...
I like Joshua, Wilder and Fury almost equally but i like AJ a bit more than Wilder and Wilder a little bit more than Fury. Usyk i don't really care about that much, he's a great fighter but he is lacking something to make me a big fan, i don't really know what it is but for me he is just a bit uninteresting in general, maybe that will change when he starts to fight heavyweights. 1. AJ 2. Wilder 3. Fury 4. Usyk That's my order as of now.
