Ortiz Arreola Stiverne Duhaupas Brezeale Washington Helenius Molina Spilka Scott Something like that?
Ortiz - Only proven decent win on his record and even then Ortiz was probably past his best given his age and being on heart meds. Plus Ortiz's resume is even thinner than Wilder's he really probably wasn't much better than a gatekeeper. But he was seen as a legit contender and a top ranked heavyweight at the time. Stiverne 1 - He had rhabdomyolysis but he has wins over Arreola who beat Molina another Wilder opponent and was champion so I have to rate him as Wilder's next best win. At the time a good win against a legit top ranked heavyweight but has to be taken into context given Stiverne decline after winning the belt. Arreola - He was past his best but he was in shape and would go onto give Ruiz trouble and Kownacki a war, so wasn't completely shot and lets be honest the rest of Wilder's resume is so damn poor even an old Arreola ranks 3rd for me. Arreola was probably not even gatekeeper level at this stage. Duhaupas, Washington, Helenius and Breazeale are all basically the same level, some lost to some of them but then beat others. All upper level journeymen if were honest when Wilder fought them. Not even gatekeeper level for me. Szpilka - Lost to Kownacki so can't rank him any higher when Helenius beat Kownacki twice. Mid tier journeymen level. Molina - Molina KO'ed in 1 by Arreola in his prime, pretty much says it all. Lost to Breazeale so cant rank him higher than guys like Breazeale. Low level journeymen. Stiverne 2 - Stiverne completely shot at this point, worthless win if were honest. Low level journeymen at this point of his career.
Have Breazeale above Stiverene and Arreola even though he wasn't a champion. Another 6 ft 7 guy with 80 inch reach. Only 3 losses are to AJ, Wilder and Wallin and he beat Molina.
