Chavez wanted to fight DLH because of the way their first fight ended...Tito was also bigger than DLH, who was in his 4th weight division when he was at welter.

When I said longetivity I meant he retired relatively young at 29 years old. I wasn't really talking about how consistent he was in his prime. Perhaps I should have been more clear. But Trinidad did have a great championship reign and a crazy winning streak after his controversial win over Oscar. The problem for me is Trinidad was young when he retired the first time, and didn't really show that he could come back from a loss and still be great. His career could have been longer, hence why I pointed out the longetivity and didn't use the word consistency. Shane is almost 40 years old and fighting the best p4p fighter in the world, he also scored one of his biggest victory late in his career over Margarito. Trinidad was done as a top fighter after 29...

Trinidad does not hold the record for most title defenses at welter. Henry Armstrong defended the title 18 or 19 times. But Trinidad defending it 15 times is very impressive.

Based on resume, i can easily see how Wnky gets left in fourth.
