Those with more extensive knowledge of boxing history- how would you rank each decade in terms of overall greatness (saturation of great fighters, knowledge, etc)..

Rank from 1900s to 2000s (11 decades total)

    1940s
    1970s
    1980s
    1930s
    1960s
    1950s
    1990s
    2000s

The first three decades I don't have enough knowledge of to make an accurate judgement. Anyways this is all IMO so call it trash w/e I just want to see everyone else's opinion..

Whoever voted 80s is a moron. Tyson was ALONE in the division.

70s had the largest crop of alltimers, followed by the 90s then the current crop.

My bad I voted for my favorite decade, but I didn't know I was supposed to vote for the greatest one

60s or 70s. Heavyweight division was nice back then.

I would go with the '20s. Most popular sport at that time. Jack Dempsey, Gene Tunney, Benny Leonard, Jack Britton, Ted Kid Lewis, and Harry Greb. That was a good decade, I would have loved to have lived in that time period.
