Haye unified his division, which was great, but could you really say that Mormeck and Maccarinelli were superior to Tszyu and Maussa - because I can't!

M&M are far superior to Maussa (he's ****ing terrible); hard to argue with Tszyu though.

    Tszyu > Mormeck
    Maussa < Maccarinelli

    Tszyu > Maccarinelli
    Maussa < Mormeck

    Point taken :deal

The Maussa fight was only taken as an easy unification fight anyway - the champs at that point were Cotto and Mayweather. Not sure who Cotto was in with, whilst Mayweather had just destroyed Gatti.

Haye hasn't been around for long and he's been beaten by Thompson and really struggled agaisnt Fragomeni. A couple of big wins @ HW and he'll fly up my list.

My list is a bit different than some of the others on here and has been compiled with a bit of favouritism rather than cold hard fact.

I'm surprised Sleaze didn't have Hatton at No.1!

I would put him above Hamed personally - and we have a Calzaghe hater to go along with Mike.

The criteria set out by the poster was resume AND h2h talent, so it is perfectly justifiable to have Haye above Hatton. Haye is by far the more skilled fighter, and doesn't rely on hugging as 50% of his game.

    Witter above Hatton?

    You're a joke.

    Hatton would beat Haye P4P.

The worst stylistic match up for Haye is a pressure fighter who's on his chest.

Haye is very economical with his punches, I think he'd lose rounds to a busy guy like Hatton.

He has a punchers chance though.

Part of the thread starters criteria - p4p in terms of H2H ability

According to some on here just because Witter lost to Bradley that somehow means he never would have beat Hatton:patsch

Lazcano had Hatton badly hurt at one point - I'm sure Witter hits harder than him.
