I see where you are coming from. Fragomeni gave Haye a tough fight and Hatton is more dynamic than him.

Hatton's resume out weighs Witter's. As do his achievements. And his overall performances, the way he won etc

You can't say 'Well Lazcano hurt Hatton and Witter hits harder, that means Witter wins'

Because then I'll say 'Bradley beat Witter, I'm sure Hatton is better than Bradley......which means Hatton is better H2H'

I think it's a bad styles match up for Haye.

Somebody who pressures Haye, throws a lot of punches, has a good chin and will very rarely be at the end of the punch has a very good chance against him.

Can Haye fight on the inside? I don't think so.

    He means P4P Smithy!

If you look at the following criteria P4P:

    Power: Haye A, Hatton B+
    Speed: Haye B, Hatton B
    Chin: Haye B-, Hatton B+
    Footwork: Haye B+, Hatton A
    Jab: Haye B+, Hatton U
    Inside: Haye ??, Hatton B+
Head Shots: Haye B+, Hatton B+
Body Shots: Haye B-, Hatton A
    Stamina: Haye B, Hatton A-
    Heart: Haye B+, Hatton A
Ring Savvy: Haye B+, Hatton A-

    Overall: Haye B+, Hatton A-

    My opinion only

I think the top 2 are clear cut whichever way around you have them.

To be honest the top 5 should be pretty much clear cut also and anyone who has Hatton above Calzaghe in this particular list is clearly a Calzaghe hater or just plain stupid.

Haye has a punchers chance against Hatton h2h :rofl

That's one hell of a punchers chance, considering he was out for the count against Mayweather who isn't even a huge puncher p4p, and was wobbled by Lazcano, a lightweight

Against possibly the biggest p4p puncher in world boxing, with great timing and a pinpoint right hand that will catch him everytime he lunges in open. If thats what you call a punchers chance...I despair

Hatton got KO'd by Mayweather, because he was chasing the fight and seeking the KO.

I don't think he'd be in a position where he'd have to chase the fight against Haye, because he'd win the majority of rounds.

I see Haye as a bit like Tszyu, likes people at the end of his punches, has great timing until pressured and struggles overall against pressure. Lets not forget that Hatton has more than enough power to drop the poor chinned Haye. I don't think he has an inside game.

Haye's chance would be in the first 6 rounds and as you say, if he catches Ricky on the way in. After this, Hatton's superior stamina and relentless pressure would take over and probably stop Haye.

Prime Hatton would have a shot h2h, because stylistically he does pose a few problems, current version not a chance

Wobbled by Lazcano and we're supposed to believe he takes Haye's bombs? He's lost his ability to take a punch, and also his stamina which was previously his biggest asset, is nothing to write home about now. Both signs of too many beers.

Also, I don't think he lands the sort of punches that are liable to starch Haye with one shot, as is possible. His punches are mostly wide hooks, which not only leave him completely open to Haye's right hand, but they are more clubbing shots than KO shots. He would need accumulation.

To me, Haye is just entering his prime, and Hatton is on the slide.

I'd have Billy Schwer and Shea Neary up in that list just for pure entertainment value, as was Ryan Rhodes back in the day!!

Maccarinelli is better than Maussa p4p. And Haye went to fight Mormeck in his hometown, Hatton on the other hand had a massive advantage home to Tszyu will all the cheating that went on....so the fact Mormeck is not as good as Tszyu is negated somewhat by the variables.

    1. Lewis
    2. Calzaghe
    3. Hamed
    4. Haye
    5. Hatton
    6. Harrison
