Ranking Pacquiao among the greats

I hold my same position on pac since I 1st saw him fight (Ledwaba) This dude can fight! Wild as hell, very entertaining, speedy & strong. Among entertaining fighters I rank him top 10. Among ATG's? Not top 20. Got a system I use for all-no exceptions. My ATG's have unified their division or at least one.

In the age of multiple belts how is the guy who won a single belt in 8 different divisions considered greater than a Hank Armstrong who held 3 belts in 3 different classes...at the same time? Loma accomplished in a few years what Manny has yet to do: hold a couple belts at once.

Baby Arizmendi, Kid Chocolate, Benny Leonard, Henry Armstrong, Barny Ross, Tony Cazoneri these guys couldn't do what Pac did because they fought when there was nothing but 8 weight classes. So for them to do a Pac they would have to had won from toddler weight class to HW.

As I've stated before- I can't call a fighter greater if he lost every chance to win more than one belt. His IBF/WBO fight ended in a draw.
His WBA/IBF ended in a draw. Lost UD for WBO/WBC/WBA. Unless we decide to accept a diamond belt vs Cotto..this dude in 24 years of fighting has never held 2 titles simultaneously.

By the numbers; when he won the fly title...was he the best fly fighter at that time?
When he won the WBC [international} strap. how was he considered better than the other belt holders? After his disputed draw with Sanchez, Joan Guzman str8 beat him up, swelled & stopped Agapito But no need to make Guzman happen, just fight Lucero then move up.
There was a window/period he could've face Acelino Freitas at Super Feather or LW. Or at least the rugged but durable Jorge Barios.
At LW- again the lineal champ Casamayor...How could anyone say Pac was the best LW champ in that era? There were 3 champs LOL! Diaz, Diaz & Casa, so how was Pac better than them? And who won the LW title Pac vacated after one fight in that class?

Each time he won a belt...someone else in that division also had a belt(s). He wins one of many belts...moves up & that makes him GOAT?
GOAT of one-belt holding ok. Among his peers, someone always prevented him from winning a 2nd belt among the many to choose from WBO/WBA/IBF/WBC/IBO.

Pac would do well against the greats. As in putting up a great fight before getting starched several times over. He'd win a belt, but he wouldn't hold it for long.

Pac schooled floyd. Pac is not a natural welterweight .pac fought floyd in his weight class but floyd made over 20 hugs and ran for 12 rounds . he did not come to fight but come to hug and run. is that schooling. Where did you study in high school?

To me he is top 15, max top 10. But i'm not Boxing historian so i don't know a great deal of many old timers etc.

People like to overrate people when they pass away. Passing away before their time usually does wonders for peoples legacy. Happens in acting, music, and sports.I think this is what is happening here. Most people had him top 60. All of a sudden he's brutally murdered and people have him in the top 20. Crazy
