This ranking list also aligns well with how long they would last H2H against Tyson Fury.

I thought Ingo's right hand was called the Hammer of Thor?

I would put Patterson on the bottom. Surely he should be below the guy that obliterated him?

Otherwise, great list. For the Rocky detractors, as you said, you can only fight the guys they put you in there with, and
all his opponents (except for Chubby Cockell) were number 1 contenders.

I believe Johansson's right hand actually had 3 nicknames (also "Toonder & Lightning").

I can see what you're saying. Ingo beat Patterson, and during the 1950s Jersey Joe beat Ezzard in 2 out of 3. Yet I had Ezzard ahead of Jersey Joe and I had Patterson ahead of Ingo, in both instances with the same reasoning - I like the quality of Ezzard's reign better than Jersey Joe's, and I likewise believe the totality of Patterson's 5 championship wins, which I believe ultimately gives him the edge. This is, of course, all very subjective and just my opinion.

    #1 is Sonny Liston
He didn’t get a title shot in the 50’s because of politics. Would have knocked out all these guys in the 50’s, some in the first round.
