Bantamweights are my favorite division....Fly - is my weakest areas....Pleas share your thoughts as you develop them! I look forward to learning a little more from you and those that respond to this thread....perhaps it is time I start delving a little bit deeper here as well.

I love Midget Wolgast and cant wait to see where you and others place him.

Stature according to boxing journalists and 'people'. 112lbs was never my forte, so I was influenced more than most divisons, by peer pressure. For instance Wilde gets the the number one spot in part for his catchweight work. But as I was compiling an all time top 100, that suited my needs.

Now a days, reading up on him; Lynch might sneak a top 5 place; thanks to Fleaman, Harada might be top 10; Dado and La Barba giving way. I also think Chitalada might sneak a top 10 place. As the only reason I did not rate him in the first place, was because I was lucky to see him live (unlike any of his peers), and have spent nearly 30 years ranting and raving about him, on the strength of that (Magri) performance.

All the good names are in there luf...imo....as far as I remember right now.
I would think Erbito Salavarria could be placed somewhere between the top 15.....
or maybe I´m exaggerating, anyway just wanted to put his name in this thread

The Mullan's, Gutteridge's et al (basically many of those British names who have died in the last 15 years or so), gave Rinty tons of kudos. Bemoaning that he was overshadowed by the brilliance of Lynch, who was 'unique'; Allen and Kane (who I think, would now also be a mention on my list).
