Whats hopkin's best wins this century, Trinidad, pavlik, Pascal, tarver??

Thats not really a great resume, its the fact that he has gone on to the age he has, but if you dont count that, then its really not all that good

hopkins never lost clearly in the 21st century. his only clear loss in his career is vs roy jones in '93.

hopkins never ducked anybody and his best 5 wins are all dominating performances.

the fact that floyd mayweather jr showed decline at the age of 37 vs maidana shows how great hopkins' longevity is.

Rigos win was a great one, but Donaire's resume overall is better at this stage

We also need to note that he immediately dropped back down and beat the #1 LHW in Tarver. Which is one of Hopkins' best wins of the 2000's on, but I think Roy beat the more hungry motivated version of Tarver, though it was a much closer fight, I rate that win over Hopkins' win.

Very few have accomplished the feat of moving down from HW to LHW and beating the top fighter, and it gets underrated because Roy looked human for the first time.. But it was a very good win.

    it was a close fight.

hopkins shut out tarver and knocked him down once

hopkins was huge underdog vs tarver, roy jones was favourite vs tarver

hopkins was coming off 2 official losses and jumping up 2 weight classes. he wasn't a big middleweight - weighed 156 vs oscar.

i cant rank roy jones' win over tarver better than hopkins' win over tarver based on that

    Have to disagree

He ducked the RJJ rematch and ducked Joe back in 2000

What 3 or 4 do you have in front of him? Do you not count his wins in his favour?

Very few people on here anymore to actually discuss boxing rationally, back in the day I'd have a good few insightful responses to such a list, positive or negative but actually talking sense.
