Ranking the Greats: POSTER CONTEST

    As stated in my previous thread, a series of articles counting down the top ten greatest fighters of the modern era will be published within the next month.

    Instead of using plain, typical photographs to head each article, I am seriously considering using eye-catching posters announcing each successive fighter as each article is published. And am therefore seeking someone with the computer and artistic talent to create 10 posters for each fighter who makes the Top Ten.

    I am aware of the literary/historical/analytical talent of ESB Classic, but am not sure of the computer/artistic talent out here besides Longcount, who has seemingly disappeared. If you dabble in such exercises, submit something. Why not? If yours is the best, I'll PM you and you will get prominent credit and real publicity...

    For those who want to submit a poster that represents the quality of their work, here is what the poster must contain:

    1. the heading should say "The Gods of War"
    2. Number 14
    3. Jimmy McLarnin
    4. "The Irish Lullaby"
    5. a picture of Jimmy McLarnin

    The rest is dependent on your imagination. Post it in this thread. I'll PM the best one and we'll go from there.

    Thank you. If you are like me and have no discernible talent or computer skill for such an endeavor, let a friend know who does.

    cheers mate! im just getting back into designing(hence the offer for free works). It feels good to have people say nice things about my work again.

    Also went and got educated on Jimmy Maclarnin. Good man.
